Misunderstanding

3 Months Later

Due to his work Taehyung had been staying busier than earlier. Yet as he used to come home first so he would usually cook dinner for both of them and then wait for Jungguk to get home and have dinner together.

Jungguk on other side had been busy In a business deal for weeks now, so he usually got home late till 9.

But today it was ticking 11:00 o'clock and jungguk wasn't home yet. Taehyung waited and waited but there was no sign of Jungguk.

He checked his phone many times, if younger left any message, but no he didn't inform Taehyung anything about getting late.

Taehyung didn't want to disturb him cause surely Jungguk was in his office working late, yet he was having a continues urge to call him once, to get informed at least. So he called but it went unattend.

Tv was on in the living room and food was ready in kitchen but Taehyung wasn't interested in any of it. Because he was worried, yes Jungguk usually got late while working but he always inform Taehyung and tell him to eat dinner without him or wait for him.

The food was getting cold as more time passed and Taehyung didn't feel like to eat alone at all. He was hungry when he came back home but now his appetite had gone. He turned everything off and went to his room upstairs silently.

He opened his laptop and started working without trying to sleep.

To be honest his sleeping sickness was much better than earlier but still he wasn't able to sleep if he was worried or disturbed. He didn't want to sleep without hearing from younger either. So he tried to busy himself until he waits for Jungguk-

Not after too long his phone rang and tae checked. It was Jungguk's.

So he attended immediately.

"Hey gukk? when are you coming back?" Taehyung sounded a little desperate even to himself, and yes he actually was.

But again It was Jungguk's life and his house, he could come and go whenever he wanted without caring about it. But Taehyung had to interfere to care if he was fine.

"Jungguk?" He asked again when he didn't get any response in return as there was no voice but only loud music in background.

"Jungguk is with me Taehyung-shi." a familiar faminine voice echoed from his phone, tae instantly recognized.

"Don't worry, he's not a kid, I just called back to inform that don't wait for him. He's not coming tonight." Haneul said and Taehyung could feel her smirking on other side of phone.

Jungguk is with Haneul?

"Where is he?" Didn't know why instead of hanging up straight at her face he asked nonetheless, not getting why she had Jungguk's phone?

"Oh he's busy getting us a drink, we're enjoying, so it will be a pleasure if you just fuck off and don't disturb us." She hanged up after rolling poison out of her venomous tongue. And Taehyung was only left looking at the phone.

Feeling hurt.

Not because of her rude tone but the things she said.

Taehyung never ever happened to feel sad about Jungguk being with someone this much before today. Realization was hitting him a bit more every day that he was falling for Jungguk.

It wasn't not right he knew but it wasn't him who wanted to fall for his best friend. They just happened to fall in such situation where he began to think that they could be more than friends.
