everything had been perfect for the two. jisung was doing better and he'd been clean since he started telling minho when he had urges. minho was a very big help in saving him from himself. he loved his therapist and was completely honest with her about everything.

jisung walked into their shared apartment, collapsing on top of minho who laid on the bed.

"how was work?" minho chuckled as he wrapped his arms around jisung.

"tiring." jisung sighed. "but i'm with you now, so it's okay."

"so cute." minho cooed. "dinners on the stove, let's go eat."

"but you're so comfy." jisung groaned.

"i know, i know." minho laughed, sitting up.

jisung moved to straddle his lap, wrapping his arms around his neck. minho smiled softly as he admired his boyfriend. jisung leaned in, placing a gentle kiss onto minhos lips.

"min...are you ready to take the next step?" jisung asked as he made eye contact with his boyfriend.

"marriage?" minho asked.

"yeah. we're settled down and both working, earning a steady income...i mean, i'm ready for marriage but are you?" jisung nodded.

"yeah, i am." minho smiled softly. "but i won't tell you when or how i'm proposing. you'll have to wait a bit." minho smirked.

"what if i wanted to propose?" jisung smiled teasingly.

"then we'll just both propose." minho chuckled. "now let's go eat."

"fine, but only cause i'm hungry." jisung nodded, getting off of minhos lap.

minho smirked to himself as they walked into the kitchen. jisung made plates for minho and himself, setting them on the table. minho grabbed a bottle of soju, grabbing two shot glasses and setting them on the table before he got them water.

"i'm gonna play music." jisung announced as he connected his phone to the speaker in the kitchen.

"play your favorite song first." minho nodded.

jisung played 'talk' by beabadoobee, getting up and grabbing minhos hands.

"you were only supposed to be a one night stand all those years ago, but i'm glad you weren't i'm glad i gave you a chance at a relationship and i couldn't be happier with where we are now." jisung smiled softly.

"we go together like the gum on my shoe." minho giggled as he got down on one knee, pulling out a heart shaped ring box. "han jisung, will you marry me?"

"min, oh my god!" jisung gasped. "this was my plan for proposal!" he laughed as he got down on one knee, pulling out a ring box. "we go together like the gum on my shoe. lee minho, will you marry me?"

the two broke into laughter as minho got up, pulling jisung up into a hug.

"yes, i will marry you." he smiled softly.

"how did we come up with the same plan." jisung laughed as they exchanged rings.

"we're soulmates." minho shrugged.

"more importantly we're soulmates who are engaged." jisung giggled.

"let's also be soulmates who eat their dinner together." minho giggled.
