(Day four in Chaldea)

Mordred grunted, feeling gravity work against her in a way it never had before. Her sword felt heavy, sweat all over her. She had never trained so difficult.

404: "Again."

Mordred raised her sword and swung it down before making a sudden stop, grunting in pain as her muscles screamed for her to stop. But she had to continue. She had to or else 404 would be disappointed and she would prefer not to.

404: "Again." Another swing. "Again."

Mordred did another swing, her lungs begging for air as 404 looked at her. She definitely seemed exhausted.

404: 'How long has it been...an hour now? I think that is enough for today.' "Alright, that shall conclude our training for today."

He stretched out a hand, the blue magic increasing her gravity dissipating as she fell to the floor, legs feeling like jelly. 404 went up to her, shooting another beam of mana as it helped restore her arms to a degree where they were still tired, but not enough to make it feel as if she couldn't use them. He helped her up, handing her a towel and a water bottle as she started to drink.

She was utterly exhausted. An hour only, but it was one of the most painful hours she ever had to experience. But she noticed that she did feel stronger, even by a little bit. She wasn't sure why, but she wasn't complaining, much to 404's displeasure.

404: "Well then. Rest up. We'll be starting again tomorrow at the same time."

He started to leave, ready to go and eat some food over at the cafeteria. Mordred pulled up next to him, making him raise a non-existent eyebrow.

404: "What is it now?"

Mordred: "I want to talk with you. I mean, you're my sensei, right? It would be awkward if I didn't know you that well."

404: "...You just want to talk with me?"

Mordred: "Come on, don't be grumpy about it! You get to spend time with your favorite student~"

404: "My least favorite too."

Mordred looked at him and grumbled a little. Having her own logic used against her like that made her slightly ticked. But she was being cheeky, so she guessed it was fair considering he was a serious guy.

Mordred: "So. Is it fine? You never really talk with others. You seem...lonely?"

404 only looked at her and sighed. She was certainly going to sit by him even if he doesn't want her to. She was obnoxious like that. Better to comply now than for her to bug him more.

404: "Fine then. Let's go then. Just don't be too bothersome."

Mordred only smiled as both made their way to the cafeteria. The servants looked over at them. An odd sight. What can be considered the most serious guy being together with such a rebellious spirit, a very extroverted one at that, together? Amusing in a way, but they concluded it to be the fact that he was training her. The only reason they knew was because of Archer. He saw them and told one servant.

News spread fast since most were close to one another.

It was definitely not because Mordred was bragging about how she was deemed worthy enough to be trained by the new guy that beat Gilgamesh.
