Crawling as quietly as he could, he mentally cursed at this decision since there were like a million cobwebs hanging in the vents.

'Maybe I should have gone in guns blazing...'

The vents in the bank were long, but after about 5 minutes of constant crawling, he could finally hear something interesting other than fans.

" — rything! Gold, notes, statements, everything that you can carry!"

"Yes, boss!"

A group of voices rang, the "boss" and the two other goons he noted as he found a grill that could let him see through the gaps. So peeking through the grill, his eyes widened in shock.

'... Woah.'

There was a jacked man. I mean, a really jacked man, almost as large as All Might in his buff form wearing a skintight suit that was black with red accents at the ribs area.

'That must be "Black Sun", a grade B Villain!'

Villains and Heroes were ranked by alphabet, from H to S, H being normal goons, to S being dangers to society as both heroes and Villains like All for One and All Might, beings that were able to blow cities apart in their free time.

Black Sun, Grade B Villain. A record of robberies, fraud, theft, murder, and vandalism. His Quirk was Shining Darkness, he is able to absorb sun rays and disperse their energy as black rays with his eyes, and his stronger rays burn as high as 3rd-degree burns. Basically Superman's laser beam but black in color.

'I should be able to match him with Gear Second and the Rokushiki — Oh fuck!'

He had made a blunder. People now know him and his techniques, so if he uses them here, the authorities would link him to the Vigilante.

'I did not think this through. OK, new plan. I'll use that then.'

In these past 3 months, he had been training like crazy since he had more time on his hands, increasing his training duration from 4-5 hours to 9-10 hours. And since then, he had come up with some interesting techniques.

Now waiting as he watches them pack the gold bars and bank notes into duffle bags, his mind wanders to his training, especially his progress with Manual 3.

'The remaining pages on the manual are getting fewer and fewer. I estimate another 2 months before he could finally start using the Gravity Chamber and learn Renewal.

'Just 2 more-ish months. I can't wait for January to come earlier...'

The moment the robbers walked away with dozens of duffle bags, he opened the grill on the vents before jumping down, making sure that his face and body were covered beforehand.

Looking at the camera security that banks should usually have, he sees them broken from what looked to be burnt.

'So Black Sun burned them.'

From that, the cameras in the bank should be all burnt, meaning he could move without anyone watching him. Good.

Sneaking up to the group in silence, he watches them place the duffle bags in the lobby of the bank.

'They must be using the "Give Hostage for Demand" tactic here... Shit.'

There were just too many hostages. Even if they were only three of them and only him, he couldn't fight them all at once, especially with Black Sun's deadly Quirk.
