"NEZUKO!" Tanjiro calls before you hear two pairs of footsteps run out of the compartment.

After a few minutes, the presence of the lowermoon which was being somewhat masked, it unmasked itself, the presence making your eyes open from shock as your body tensed up again, immediately on guard.

"... We'll he's not really giving me much of a choice but to fight, now." You frown, readying your sword before cutting some of the weird tentacle things.

Inosuke shoots awake, jumping through the roof before disappearing from view.

You sigh, deadpanning at where he was for a second before you notice some of the tentacles heading towards the passengers.

.... You totally would get scolded by the corps if you just let them die.

"Celestial breathing, fifth form, scattering constellations!"

You quickly cut all of the tentacles, making sure none of them get the chance to get close enough to the passengers.

Suddenly, a flash of lightning dashed through the cart you were in, making you blink in surprise before quickly regaining focus, cutting another one of the tentacles.

Was is that golden-haired kid from earlier?

You cut another one of the tentacles, frowning as it regenerates quickly.

Suddenly, you felt yourself get lifted by your waist and tucked under somebody's shoulder in a flash of red and orange.

Eh...? Rengoku?

Your world spins for a moment before you felt yourself get set down.

"Young Kamado!" Rengoku exclaims as you look down to see Tanjiro sitting on the floor infront of you two.

"Rengoku! L/n!"

"I was pretty thorough with my slashing attacks on my way here, so it should take the demon a while to regenerate." Rengoku exclaims before crouching down infront of Tanjiro. "But there's no time to lose! I'll keep it short!"

"Okay!" Tanjiro nods firmly.

"This train has eight cars in all. L/n and I will protect the five cars in the rear. The yellow boy and your sister will be in charge of the rest. You and the boar head boy will go look for the demon's head while keeping an eye on those three cars." Rengoku explains as Tanjiro blinks in surprise.

"Head? But he's—"

"No matter what form he's assumes, so long as he's a demon, he's got a head! We'll be searching for his weak spot as we fight! I want you to show me how gutsy you are!" Rengoku exclaims with a smile as you turn towards him for a moment.

"But won't it be easiest if I just go with him? I'm better at fighting than protecting people... they'll just get in my way.." You try to reason only to get cut off with a hand patting your head.
