E/C eyes can't seem to take themselves away from the moon that met her gaze head-on, it's brightness casting a gleam on her eyes that were narrowed at it.
A lone girl sits on the roof of her estate, legs swinging back and forth off the edge aimlessly. Her sword being set off to the side, momentarily forgotten by the demon slayer.
"Mn..." The girl hums, lips twitching down into a deeper frown, which only urges the moon to grin wider at her displeasure.
"L— Lady L/N?" A kakushi drags her attention from down on the grass as the girl sighs, looking down at them with a sharp glare which seemed to freeze the kakushi in place.
"What is it?" The girl demands, not at all pleased with being interrupted.
"La— Lady Kocho has requested you v— visit the butterfly mansion tomorrow..." The kakushi stutters nervously as the girl pauses.
"Shinobu? Mh, I suppose I can go... you're dismissed." The girl agrees as the kakushi nods before scurrying away like a skittish rodent would.

"Are you going to come out or stand there like a creep?" The girl sighs, eyes turning to the figure which was now standing besides her rather than the forest from moments earlier.
"Oh? I hadn't thought you noticed me!" The demon exclaims with a bright smile, fan obscuring part of his smile.
"Hmph, your eyes stick out like a sore thumb." The girl huffs, looking back up at the moon which stayed grinning at her mockingly.
"Awh~ that's too bad, I want to be able to sneak up on you one of these days!" He laughed before sitting down next to her.
"So, what are you up to, Y/N?" He asked, rainbow eyes locking onto E/C ones.
"...Just looking at the moon again, it's grinning at me." Y/N frowns, eyes narrowing as her gaze lands on the moon in an accusatory way.
"Eh?" The demon blinks in confusion, looking at the moon, which, in his eyes, was no longer grinning. "You're weird sometimes, Y/N."
"Wow. Thank you so much." Y/N frowned, casting a glare at the uppermoon with no real malice.
He laughs, smiling brightly at the upset girl who sighed before looking down at her sword.
"Sorry. I'm just in a bad mood today... one of the demon's I was targeting got away." Y/N apologizes as she tears her gaze away from the sword to look back at the demon.
"Eh? They were able to escape from you of all people?"
"They wouldn't have been able to normally. Their blood demon art let them teleport... and after that I lost all traces of them." Y/N huffs, crossing her arms over her chest. "Anyways... what have you been up to, Douma?"
"Hm, you know, completing missions for that man, trying to find a certain flower, the usual!" Douma smiles brightly, making her sigh.
"Lame."
"Eh? How rude, Y/N!"
"You and I both know you're not hurt by my words."
He laughs, nodding in agreement as she deadpans, once again looking at the moon.
