Apparently, Todoroki wants to confess to me

SUMMARY

Bakugou: I was fed up with Todoroki's eccentric behavior, but when I heard from Kaminari that Todoroki was about to confess to me, I set up a prank

Todoroki has been sitting in the middle of my room for a long time now. He doesn't say anything, but for some reason he has a serious expression on his face. It's beyond incomprehensible and already terrifying. Maybe he's trying to be a seat-of-the-pants.

"Hey, you. How long do you intend to stay here like that?"

"Ba...kugou" Todoroki finally opens his mouth, then closes and opens it again "li....."

T/N: Here, Todoroki is saying す (su) & as you guys might've already guessed, he's trying to say 'like' which is 'すき (suki)' in Japanese (hiragana characters)

"vinegar?"

T/N: But here, Bakugou interpreted Todoroki's す (su) as 酢 (su) a kanji character & is actually an incomplete word but it can be directly translated as 'vinegar' which makes it a complete word

Todoroki utters a mysterious single word, then goes silent again. It's getting tiresome. Nearly thirty minutes passed without a word being said. 30 minutes. All the while, the brazenness that occupies the middle of the room is more than frustrating and appalling.

"You half-assed"

Get out. I tried to land my right heel on the his shoulder, but was unable to do so because I was a bit startled to see Todoroki looking up at me.

"Li... so... um..."

T/N: As I've noted above about 'su', here 'so' is translated from で (de)

"Hah?"

For a moment, he looked at me with a strong-willed gaze (I thought it was like he was in a battle), but he quickly turned his gaze away again. A frown formed at his mouth, which looked like he was eating or spewing air like a goldfish. Did he say, 'すで'? (sude) Ruminating over Todoroki's words, I try to think of the kanji that might match.
Bare hands (素手 - sude)
Already (既 - sunde)
Perhaps, vinegar (酢で - sude)

Todoroki clenches his fist with a gulp "Suki...yaki, I want to eat"

T/N: Here, 'suki' is supposed to be 'like' but it won't be accurate if I wrote the actual translation which is:
"Like..... yaki, I want to eat" It sounds weird & funny, right?
And sukiyaki is a Japanese dish

Sukiyaki with vinegar. I squinted one eye quizzically as my mind successfully converted the kanji characters. This is the first time I've heard of this combination and it's not very intriguing. However, everyone's tastes and preferences are different and the taste of the family in which you grew up is also a factor. The Todoroki family would eat sukiyaki with vinegar. Having acquired a piece of knowledge about the Todoroki family that I don't think I'll ever need in the future, I mercilessly pushed Todoroki away. Todoroki is holding his head with both hands and uttering an inaudible voice. What the hell is with this guy?

Todoroki's eccentricities occur frequently these days. Yes, eccentric. No matter how you look at it, this guy's actions are mostly out of the ordinary and I can't even guess what his intentions are. I would describe him as eccentric, but if you ask Kaminari, he seems to be a brave stray. I can't help but agree with the 'stray' part, but I didn't understand the word 'brave'. How can I sense the bravery from a nuisance that occupies the middle of my room for half an hour?
