"Shouto?"
I slept with him last night, but when I woke up, there was no sign of my lover next to me, and I think it's a rare occurrence.
Usually, I'm the one who wakes up first and starts the day by pulling my lover off of me, who clings to me with all his might even while he sleeps (Incidentally, Shouto seems to wake up in spirit when he's on the early shift, but so far, he's had little success)
The soft morning light is streaming through the gaps of the blackout curtains in my bedroom, and it's strange because I feel lighter when I think that today is a good day, perhaps because I don't like the rain.

When I stretched out and got off the bed, I noticed a white envelope on top of my slippers.
On the front, it says "To Katsuki" in Shouto's handwriting, so it's definitely addressed to me. Shouto should have a day off today, and even if he suddenly becomes dispatched, he should be contacted by the talk app. Wondering what the letter was about, I opened the envelope and found a postcard with a picture of the blue sea inside. When I turn it over, I can see "Mi" written in handwriting. "Huh?" I thought as I don't remember anything about the two characters written.
Shouto basically doesn't do meaningless things. So maybe this means something, but I don't know yet.
"For now, should I ask the person himself?"
If it had been anyone other than him, I would have just called it a pain in the ass, but I got out of the bedroom to take a little ride.

The sun is shining into the living room, so it seems that the blackout curtains were opened by Shouto, but the figure of the person himself is not here. There's no noise so apparently he's not home, but I haven't heard from him so far on my phone. Did he go shopping? As I looked around the living room, I saw another white envelope on the dining table.
When I opened the sealed envelope, thinking that it was just like Shouto to write "To Katsuki" on the second envelope, I found that the contents of the second envelope was also a postcard with a picture of the sea. However, the previous sea was the blue sea in the daytime, and the next picture is the sea at dusk dyed in orange. And the letters written on the back are "piace tanto"

I heard the front door unlock and footsteps gradually approaching the living room, but I didn't want to wait quietly, so I ran out before the door could be opened.
"......You're hard to understand"
I was thinking of hugging him with that momentum, but I stopped when I saw a bouquet of red roses in Shouto's hands. Instead, I pinched his face between my hands and crushed it lightly. The flower shop shouldn't be open at this time, so I'm sure he hid it in the car. I didn't expect this guy to do such a stupid thing, but I don't feel bad.
"I thought I'd bring it while Katsuki was sleeping"
The way he was crushed on the cheek, his shoulders dropped, and he fell into a slump may have been pathetic in general, but he tried his best to please me, so I thought it was rather cool to see.
"Don't you have something to say before you get all depressed?"
I let go of the cheek that I was pinching, and when I said that with a smile, Shoto recovered in an instant and wrapped his arms around my waist and hugged me.

"Katsuki, happy birthday"
"Pfft. Also, say the words in your letter in person"
"......That's...... Was that letter no good?"
"I―diot. Say it loud to celebrate my birthday"
"..............."

When I urged him while looking at his eyes, Shouto's lips opened softly.
"Mi piace tanto (I love you so much)"
I thought I'd say something like, "Why is it Italian?" or "Don't be shy just to say you love me now" but I didn't. I was so happy that he was trying so hard to celebrate me in his busy days that I placed the bouquet of flowers from one hand to the table and dived into his chest this time.

"Me too...... I love you, Shouto"
