4. Alive?

"The last transmission I received was Jungkook saying they found something. Maybe they're still on it." says Hoseok, wanting to be optimistic at Jungkook's lack of report. Taehyung rubs the bridge of his nose, headphones on. He hasn't been separated from the transmission equipment all day.

"Still nothing?" asks Namjoon entering the room. He notices that, on the bed, two dogs are lying down. They both raise their heads, after noticing that it's him, they lower their heads again. They want Jungkook.

"They haven't said anything else," Taehyung says and checks that the channel is the right one. He receives, not transmitting, but he has the communicator Namjoon left him an hour ago. "And it's starting to get dark, we should-"

"No one is going out at night" Namjoon interrupts and leans on the table. "Give me the communicator, maybe he forgot-"

"Or maybe he's in a situation where it doesn't warrant noise" Hoseok interrupts hurriedly. "We have to wait for them to talk. Let's not go interrupting at a bad time and cause a misfortune."

Namjoon bites his cheeks in distaste. He's just as worried as Taehyung. Jungkook outside, going straight into a trap someone set is... worrying. It annoys him too much. The only thing he's asking for is that it's not another group. That it was really a request for help from Seojoon or someone named the same.

Taehyung lifts his head abruptly, pressing the headphones to his ears to listen to what he says. He widens a smile, recognizing the voice despite the weather and poor audio quality:

"Can anyone hear me? Hello? Hello? Hello? Can anyone hear me?"

"Sejojoo...!"

"Please help, if you don't come he won't survive" The smile on Taehyung's lips disappears," please come, please- Yoongi won't survive if you don't come! You almost devoured him! He's bleeding to death! YOU HAVE TO COME NOW!"

He sounds desperate, as he doesn't even know if anyone is listening to him through that communicator. Taehyung opens and closes his mouth, as he turns around, Namjoon is no longer there, rushing downstairs and shouting for everyone who can accompany him, having an emergency. Hongjoong, who was with San, Mingi and Seonghwa, instantly gets up as does San; Jackson, Jeongyeon, Bambam and Yugyeom alike set off after him.

"What's wrong!" asks Jin, not understanding the commotion of everyone getting ready at such a speed. "It's already going to get dark, whatever might be happening, it can-"

"It can't wait until tomorrow!" argues Namjoon, lacing up his boots. "Something happened to Yoongi, Jungkook didn't even talk. I must go now. Take care of everything here."

Jin nods, impressed and dumbfounded. Namjoon takes the belt with a gun, combat knife and stored bullets; Hoseok holds out the satchel with an extra gun and leaves the school, getting into the van that Hongjoong already had ready at the entrance. Behind them is another car driven by Jackson, who follows them closely. Jin goes to the infirmary, where Chaewoon was giving a class to his apprentice nurses.

Being Momo, Mina, San, Hwanwoong, Seoho and Keonhee.

"I want you to get everything ready, something happened and as soon as they are here, you need to be ready." heannounces hurriedly and Chaewoon nods. Everyone present takes care of putting away the tables, books and notebooks to take out serum, bandages, scalpels, needles and a defibrillator that they connect to a generator.

Jin hopes it is not as serious as Namjoon made it seem in his haste.

"Seojoon!"

Namjoon finds him a few feet away from the carousel and near a huge opening in the ground. It startles him to see that he has a wound on his leg, his pallor and weakness; Uncovering the wound, he finds that it is his bone sticking out of his flesh How did he get such a wound? He doesn't know, Seojoon pulls him by the arm.
