#9 The Wedding

Hiya loves, how we all doing? Fine? That'll do. Sorry I haven't posted in a while, works been chaotic and my oh so wonderful teacher assigned me like seven different things to complete with in a week so that's been fun. Decided to make a sweet-ish one today, I'll make something spicy soon for you nasties who are only hear for the kinks 😙

Sirius sat in front of his brother, not blinking, watching as Regulus' eyes began to tear. He didn't know what to do so he did what he thought Remus would do for him, and held Regulus in his arms, placing his head on top and stroking his back in circular motions. He hated his parents for this, he was their child, their own son and they had now disowned the only person they had.

"I knew, I knew he wasn't going to do it but I just thought they might at least attempt to be civil for one night! I'm their child Sirius! This is the biggest day of my life!" Regulus continued to cry into Sirius' collarbone.

"I'll do it, I'll fix this, this is going to be your dream wedding brother don't you worry"

Regulus looked up and smiled at Sirius, "...I love you Sirius, please know that" Sirius looked at his younger brother, wiping a tear from his face, "love you more", with that Sirius let Regulus get some rest and called an emergency meeting at the Potter residence.

"Alright good evening ladies and gents! I have summoned you all here because my parents have made my brother cry, naturally I need your help to kill them, dispose of the bodies and burn their house down to the ground"

"Where do we start love?" Remus smiled

"NO!" everyone heard Regulus yell from down the hall, "as much as I'd like to, we're not killing my parents."

"Oh why not Regulus! Every day they give me another reason to hate them and you're the only one who thinks I shouldn't" the other people in the room nodded in agreement, no one was against the idea and would gladly help.

"Look James and I's wedding was supposed to be held in those gardens we showed you, the one with the massive lake and weeping willow. My parents however decided to buy the land when they found out and have declined access to anyone who tries to enter it, my father won't walk me down the isle and my mother told me she would rather use every unforgivable curse on herself before handing me over to a Potter."

Everyone looked at each other and then back at Regulus, "we have no place to hold the ceremony, no financial help to even plan a wedding and I'm pretty sure anyone who's actually on board with this wedding is standing in front of me now, I mean this in the nicest way possible but that's not exactly a lot to work with"

No one had realized the whole time James had been standing behind Sirius on the staircase listening to the conversation, "so what do we do now?"

"James?"

"Just going to give up on our wedding?"

"No I don't want to do that, I just-"

"Regulus you know who you committed to right?"

"Yes."

"So I'm going to fucking marry you whether your parents like it or not" James took Regulus' hand and the two went upstairs.

Remus and Lily smiled at each other,

"Ok but why was that"

"Why was that kinda.."

"Kinda hot"

"It was kinda hot though"

Sirius through a book at the two who started laughing. He walked over to the table where he was followed by all his friends, "alright let's find a venue, this stays a secret, we get as many wedding guests as we can and then get into position. I'll be walking Regulus down the isle"
