"Dostoevsky is dead now, right?"

"Yup!"

"We have nothing to worry over anymore!"

——————

Fyodor Dostoevsky, member of the Decay of Angels, is now officially dead. Or, at least he is supposed to be. Seeing as he is currently sitting in Café Uzumaki, waiting for his order.

The waitress had been extremely nervous upon seeing him and had probably called the agency members to come down to check if it's actually him. While making his drink, she glanced over to him several times and kept looking away every time he looked up.

Kunikida ran down the stairs at an extremely fast speed, rushing to see if Fyodor's is still alive. Once he reached the door, he opened it to find a very much alive and well Fyodor Dostoevsky. It was like his peaceful world shattered at that very moment.

Fyodor heard the door open and saw a glimpse of Kunikida's face before the door was slammed shut once more. He turned back to the waitress and found her holding his drink, he nodded and thanked her quietly before sipping his drink in delight. He had to admit, the drinks in this café are actually really good.

A few minutes later, the door was opened once more and Fyodor glanced back to find a frozen Atsushi Nakajima holding the door open and a frozen Doppo Kunikida behind him. Both had a comical shock expression on their faces and the door was slammed shut once more.

Fyodor went back to sipping on his drink delightfully before waiting for the next comedic appearance to be made. It seems that the waitress also had the same intention as him as she is also staring at the door while holding back her laughter.

After a while of waiting, the door was finally opened again, this time with Dazai walking towards Fyodor. He stopped walking when he was a few tables away from Fyodor and waved at him.

This action of his unfroze Atsushi and Kunikida as they stare at him in shock, both wondering why he's being so nice to their (ex) enemy. "Welcome back, my dear husband." Dazai said teasingly while taking a seat next to Fyodor.

Everyone who was watching the scene (except Ranpo and Yosano) were shocked at the revelation of Fyodor and Dazai being married. They had noticed the ring on Dazai's finger after Fyodor's supposed death but had shook it off to be some prank.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HUSBAND?!" Kunikida shouted in shock, he had not been expecting this, not only is Dostoevsky still alive but he's also married to Dazai?!

"HE'S YOUR HUSBAND?!" Atsushi also shouts in shock.

"Who else could I be talking to?" Dazai smiles at them.

"Are you sure he's your husband?" Kunikida asks Fyodor, who in return nods at him, "We had a legal wedding, signed the papers and all, your detective over there can prove it."

All of them turns to Ranpo, who was snacking on some chips, and wondered when he came down here.

"Oh, yeah, they did get married legally." Ranpo said while munching on some chips.

"My dear, why aren't you wearing the ring I got for you?" Dazai asks him while slinging his arm over Fyodor's shoulders.

"And why should I?" Fyodor raised an eyebrow at his antics.

"Oh how you wound me, my dear." Dazai says dramatically, leaning on Fyodor's shoulder for support, "That ring costed so much and you didn't even bother wearing it."

"I still have it, it's just too inconvenient." Fyodor says while taking a ring out of his pocket.

"At least you still have it."

"And I can see that you're wearing yours right now."

"How could I deny the ring that my beloved spent so much money on?"
