Chapter 19 - Recharge

After maybe a good two weeks, Roxanne was discharged from the hospital but told to come back immediately if there were any issues and to not do anything strenuous for another four or five weeks. If anything, she was happy to be home but found most of what was happening to be extremely dull. She always had 'him' by her side, at least. Mainly because she wouldn't let him be out of her sight for too long, sometimes not at all. Being unable to do much meant that she would just sit and watch while talking to 'him' while he was doing other things. Usually making something or other, while trying not to injure himself. Not that he was particularly successful with that, though. Nothing major, just stabbed himself with a sewing needle a couple of times and a few other minor things.

'Him': "ow."

Roxy: "Do I have to take those things away from you?"

'Him': "No."

Roxy: "Are you going to stop stabbing yourself with them?"

'Him': "It's not intentional."

Roxy: "Still."

'Him': "It's only one more week, and then you can do stuff again."

Roxy: "Yea, I know. I still feel bad about the hospital bill."

'Him': "Why?"

Roxy: "It was so much I couldn't even pay it off. The company had to."

'Him': "You were praised by lots of people for that, though."

Roxy: "I know. Still doesn't feel right."

'Him': "Right tell you what, why don't we plan some stuff for the future, like things we want to do?"

Roxy: "OOh, yes!"

'Him': "Thought that would be the case."

Roxy: "Where is your favourite place to be?"

'Him': "Probably Alton Towers in England."

Roxy: "What is that?"

'Him': "It's a theme park."

Roxy: "You're into theme parks?"

'Him': "Yes. I've only ever been to Towers, though."

Roxy: "There are a lot of theme parks. Is there anything special about that one?"

'Him': "To me, yes. To everyone else, it has the world's first vertical drop coaster, the world record holder for the most inversions, Europe's first inverted coaster, the world's first flying coaster, and a few others. Having been out of touch with most of the world for quite some time, I don't know if 'project horizon' was finished."

Roxy: "Hmm."

'Him': "That's only one thing, though. What about you?"

Roxy: "I haven't really been anywhere or done anything. Apart from that enrichment thing."

'Him': "Maybe we should all do some things together."

Roxy: "Yeah, okay."

'Him': "I'll write some notes for them as they won't be in their rooms."

Roxy: "Be quick when delivering them."

Chica was the first to arrive.

Chica: "Thanks for the note. It was soo sweet."

'Him': "Heh."

Monty opened the door but didn't walk in.

Monty: "YOU WHAT MATE!"

'Him': "Thank you for coming."

Monty: "Lumpy swamp soup."
