I decide to wear my favourite Azazie Chanel dress tonight. Its a beautiful long gown that comes in this nice Marigold colour. I've cut my hair in this short little just passed the chin look, which is actually really cute on me. I don't even need to style it, my hair has the perfect waves today. I end up wearing the necklace that Luke gave me because it goes with my look and because its too beautiful to not wear. Of course my nails are done a beautiful almost army green which compliments my entire look. Overall I'd say I look pretty good which is a good thing since this restaurant is absolutely gorgeous.

The majority of Luke's colleagues are here which gives me a chance to get to know everyone a little better. Its also pretty cute to see how he interacts with everyone and their little groups that he has. For example I learned that he has a group of three other people who call themselves the 'Late Lunchers' because they all like taking lunch a little bit later than everyone else? Its cute in a dorky little way but its also just fun to see.

After about ten minutes of these guys talking about their late lunches I decide to excuse myself and go get some juice for Luke and I. I don't really drunk much and Luke doesn't at work things, so we're both staying sober together here.

"Wren."

I expect to see Luke behind me, but when I turn I come face to face with Tony. As in Tony from PTV. Vic's bandmate.

He stands there in an all black suit, his hair slicked back, his tattoos complimenting the all black vibe he has. In his left hand he's holding a drink, it catches my eye along with three gold rings he has on. Overall its a great look for him. I'm sure its better than the discomfort that I'm wearing.

"Its nice to see you." Tony says in his usual calm and collected manner. "Its been awhile."

"Yeah," I say quietly. "Well, its just, I-"

"You don't need to explain yourself to me." he says. "I don't know what was going on with you and Vic, or you and anyone for that matter, but its not really my business."

This was always my favourite part of Tony. He minds his business. No matter how curious he might be, he never pushes. In the little time that we spent together, he always made me feel comfortable and just accepted in general.

"Thanks Tony." I say with a small smile. "So what brings you here?"

He gives a little shrug and takes a quick sip of his drink. "I know people."

I roll my eyes at him which causes him to launch into a full on grin.

"You seem to know everyone." I say.

"Ah you know, I'm just a likeable guy." he jokes, but we both know its true and he really is a likeable guy. "But seriously, I know the owners of this restaurant so I talked them into letting me in."

"You're that desperate for company?" I ask, raising an eyebrow. "You have plenty of friends."

"Yeah, well Jaime is here somewhere, Mike is busy with, uh, personal stuff," he says, a look of discomfort coming over him. "And Vic is a bit out of it lately."

My heart pounds at the mention of Vic. It pounds in relief knowing that he isn't here but it also pounds at the mere mention of him.

"I hope everything is okay." I say in regards to Mike and Vic. "I hope its nothing family related."

Tony looks at me, his face weirdly blank for a second. He takes another sip of his drink, this time bigger than the last one.

"I'm surprised you haven't heard." he says.

"I haven't talked to anyone since I left." I say, my eyes sliding from his and onto the floor, shame washing over me about everything.

"Maybe you should." he says. "I know a lot of people miss you. More than you think."

Does he mean Vic? Or does he just mean my band? Because I know that theres no way that Lila misses me, not after I fucked everything up with her and Mac. Maybe seeing Tony isnt a great blessing like I was starting to believe it is. That part of my life is done anyways, I shouldn't be here wishing to have some of it back.

"I'm gonna go mingle." Tony says, pulling me from my thoughts. "After all I did bribe my way in for the socializing."

We say our goodbyes and I watch him leave. He's right, maybe I should reach out. Fuck, maybe I shouldn't. Maybe I should enjoy this nice restaurant with my nice boyfriend. Maybe I should get blackout drunk to forget everything.

"So," Luke says coming up behind me. "How do you know Tony Perry?"

"What?" I ask too quickly, my voice giving away the shock I feel. "How do you know him?"

"My family knows him." he says slowly. "We went to this band camp together one year when we were younger. Granted, he got more out of it than I did."

"How so?" I ask, only half listening to him.

"Well he's in a very famous band called Pierce the Veil and I'm an accountant." he says. "I would tell you do to the math on that one, but like I pointed out, thats my job."

"Ha." I say, my brain too occupied to force myself into this conversation fully.

"Whats wrong?" Luke asks me, his arm finding its way to my shoulder.

I glance over at where Tony is and see him looking at Luke and I. Not that I thought I could keep this from him or even wanted to, but I still feel caught somehow.

"Wren?" Luke prods. "Something happen?"

"No." I say quietly, wishing I wasn't here right now.

"Come on." Luke says and leads me to the giant outside balcony.

I stand there and stare at the ocean, avoiding Luke's eyes and his questions. I feel too overwhelmed by seeing Tony, even though in some way it was nice. It was like a reminder that my old life is still there if ever I wanted it. Its also a reminder that my old problems are still there.

"You know you can talk to me." Luke says, his voice warm and delicate.

I take a deep breath and look Luke in the eyes and then do the one thing I never thought I would get the courage to do. I tell him the truth.
