"We need to get through these guards," Ghost says. He looks back to me then to Soap, pointing to a building. "Cover there. I need you to tap into those security cameras so you can guide me through."
"I'll come," I start to advance forward, but Ghost's hand holds me back.
"You need to stay with Soap; less movement the better. That's why we are going this route." I grunt as I turn around, going into the building. I turn around seeing Ghost and Soap talk, and I cannot help but speak my mind.
"I can handle myself, asshole." I murmur to myself as I enter the building.
I lean against the desk, typing on the computer trying to get into their systems. "And, hacking." I press enter, the screen loading.
"Hey, Red." Soap closes the door behind him, sitting by me and slamming his gun on the table. I notice a pair of eyes on me, and I look over to see Soap's expression soften. "Thanks."
"For?" I ask as I type away at the computer.
"For saving my ass. You almost died though," he says somberly. "You're bleeding through the bandages."
I look to Soap, giving him a soft smile. "What matters is that we are both alive and breathing. Once we get out of this hell hole, we are going to rest for a few days while we map out how to corner Graves and his dumbass Shadows."
Soap nods. "Can't say I agree more,"
"I really do appreciate you being there for me, Soap." I offer him a smile, as I lean into the screen.
I click on the computer, hacking into the first camera.
"Ghost, can you hear me?" I ask over Soap's ear piece.
"Loud and clear. What's the move?"
"Barrel, left. Two separated guards behind that wall. Plant explosives on the trucks on the way- good distraction."
"Got it." Ghost moves on the camera, sneak attacking one guard and then the other, taking cover behind a container and planting a bomb on a truck nearby.
"Advance forward, guard to your right turned to 3 o'clock."
Ghost crouches and runs to the guard, dragging him backwards and driving the knife into his neck. He reaches over, planting another numb underneath another truck.
"You're gonna need a distraction with these two dumb fucks," Soap says. "Generator. Blow it."
Ghost moves forward, cutting the wire and hiding behind it.
"One coming your way- after you sick him, his buddy will be isolated." Soap says.
"Got it, Johnny." Ghost stabs the guard, then runs forward and sneaks up behind the other.
"Hot, Ghost Riley." Soap says.
"Okay, Ghost. Two guards, both isolated. We are running to the building to meet you there now."
"Copy."
I close the computer, standing up. "I need a gun.." I begin to open drawers, and finally find a handgun stuffed in a packet of newspapers. "Bingo, baby." I smile as I wave to Soap.
"I just cannot believe it.. Shepherd and Graves." Soap sighs, looking up.
"I know. But all we can do is report this to Price and Kate once we are out of here; see what they have to say about this." I say as I put a hand on his shoulder.
"So, uh.. what happened with you... with..?" Soap skips around the question.
"Graves." I finish as I clench my fist.
