"Olo'eyktan!" shouts a voice.

Father, sharpening his spear, looks up at Toruk Makto and his wife and several Metkayinas running on the nets towards us. I glance at Mother next to me who stands up.

"The children put themselves in danger by trying to protect a Tulkuns, yours too!"

Father stands up too. My heart quickens. Tsireya? At the hands of the humans? A rage grows inside me.

"The demon ship?" He asks in a deep voice with a dark look.

"Yes." Toruk nods. "We must go there." He says before diving into the water after calling his Ilu.

"Take the weapons, sound the alarm!" Father said to the Metkayinas who accompanied Toruk and his wife.

The men nodded and let out a war cry as they ran to the heart of the village to sound the alarm. Mother grits her teeth and grabs her harpoon. A harpoon carved by her father that was given to her when he died. Father stops her and puts his hand on her round belly.

"No, you stay here." He says firmly.

She pushes his arm away.

"I am a warrior, I will fight." Mother says as she rushes towards the sea.

I stand up in turn. I grab the harpoon hanging on my back and clicking my tongue I call my Ilu and run to the water too. My Ilu swims between my legs so that I can get on his back. I grab the reins and pull them up to the surface. All the warriors of the village are on their mounts. Some in the sky, others on the sea. War cries are heard. In the distance, a gigantic demon ship can be seen, with other smaller ships around it.

Father raises his spear and asks us to slow down. The Skimwings land on the water. When I see Tsireya tied to the front deck of the boat, I hiss, showing to my fangs, my ears turning downwards.

A Na'vi points to the weapon in his hand before placing the barrel of the weapon behind Lo'ak's head.

"I'm going alone." Says Toruk Makto suddenly.

"No." Stops him Father. "He killed a Tulkun. He must die here and now.

It's me they want!" Toruk says louder for Father to understand. "I am the only reason they are doing this. The hunt for Tulkun, our children held hostage."

Mother turns to Toruk, her face crumpled with anger. "You're the one who brought the trouble here.

So it's up to me to go and sort it out." The Omatikaya replies.

Father says nothing, just looks at him and then lowers his spear.
Toruk kicks his heels under the Skimwing's heels so that it slowly moves towards the demon ship. He places his fingers on his necklace before speaking.

"I'm coming alone, get your ammo ready." He places both hands on the reins and swims towards the iron machine alone.

This is what I always wanted. To deliver Toruk Makto to protect my people but now that the scene is unfolding before my eyes. I have a bitter taste in my mouth. This is a bitter victory. He is brave. He goes alone to the enemy to protect his family and the Metkayinas.

In the sky, I see Toruk's wife hovering around us, probably worried about her husband going alone. Suddenly, a huge mass rises from the water in front of the boat and crashes into it.

"Payakan." I whisper with a smirk.

Payakan stirs on the demon boat. He crushes the Sky People who try to shoot at him and throws them into the sea with his tail.
Mother glances at Father. He raises his spear in the air and flies towards the boat with all the people.
