It has been a week already since Danielle and I transferred to Hybe Academy. We got along with everyone already.

"So how was your experience for the start of this week?" I asked Danielle. We were currently chilling on the living room since it's Saturday.

"It was okay! But I haven't really talked to Haerin since she doesn't want to talk all the time. Her replies are short and simple," she says with a hint of sadness. Which makes me remember Minji again. That girl.

I always see the two of them hanging out on the library often but I was too shy to approach them. She and Haerin are complete opposites. I would see Minji talk a lot with other people. She has a lot of friends. And I honestly wish I was one of them. She seems fun to be with.

Although I already met a few friends in our block, one named Wonyoung and another one named Liz. At least I had someone to help me understand when there were difficult tasks.

But there are also times when I get to greet Minji when we are about to go to our own classrooms. She'd say hi to me which I'd happily greet back and ask about how her day went. It was great.

"But did you make other friends as well?"

"Yes! I'm friends with everyone in our class. Especially Eunchae and Kyujin. Those two are really noisy and fun to be with. But, I really want to be friends with Haerin. She's just so cute," she says and munched on her nachos. I chuckled.

"That's great. Anyway, I'm bored. Should we hang out and eat some street foods? I'm curious about the stalls at the market," I said and stood up.

"Sounds great! Let me just change my clothes," Danielle says and rushed to her room.

"Hey, unnie. It's Haerin and Minji-unnie over there. Should we say hi to them?" Danielle pointed at a cafe we passed by. I got excited and nodded instantly.

"We should! Maybe we could ask them to hang out with us," I say with excitement. Danielle also mirrored my expression as we sprinted towards the cafe.

The two girls were reading a book across each other. Are they studying? But it's weekend! We went to approach them anyways.

"Hi, fancy seeing the two of you here," I greeted while flashing them a bright smile.

Minji looked up and reciprocated my smile, brighter even.

"Hello there, Hanni-ssi and Danielle-ssi. It's nice to see you both," she says and acknowledged us.

Haerin bowed to us while smiling a little. Danielle smiled and waved at her in response.

"Me and Danielle was just about to go and take a stroll when we saw you guys here, and we wanted to say hi," I shyly said.

"Oh. Really? Then do you guys want to hang out here? Um, only if you want to, I mean," Minji invited us.

I beamed her a smile again and looked at Danielle. She nodded so I turned back to Minji, "We'd love to."

I sat beside Minji while Danielle sat across me, beside Haerin.

"I'll go get something to drink, do you guys want to get anything?" Danielle asked. Minji and Haerin already had bubble tea for each of them.

"No, but thank you, Danielle-ssi."

"Alright, but please call me Danielle. And I'll call you Minji-unnie. Is that okay?" she asks. This is one thing I'd like to address to as well. She has been formal with us since day one.
