Minji-unnie has been quite busy these past few days. She stays at their office most of the time and would come pick me up less. But I totally understand. It's not like we're bound to be together always. And besides, someone has been under my sleeve for a while now....

I was startled when someone poked my cheek. Turning around, I found Danielle-unnie's face a few inches away from mine. This automatically made me blush and turn away quickly.

"Sorry for startling you, Haerin-ah. I've been calling you for a while but it seems that you were in deep thought," she giggled softly.

"I-it's fine, Danielle-unnie," gosh, stop stuttering, Kang! "Were you asking something?" I asked and carefully turned to her again. She smiled brightly at me.

"I made these for you," she handed me a pack of cookies again. This time, it was shaped like tomatoes. My eyes widen and can't help but smile widely as I looked at it.

"Unnie! Wha-" I was about to burst but I remembered that we're in the classroom so I quickly covered my mouth. She was laughing softly at me. "I'm sorry. It's just that.... why tomatoes?" I asked and took the pack in my hands, eyes sparkling as I gazed at it.

"I just noticed that you love tomatoes as much as you love frogs and cats. Whenever we go to lunch together, you always eat the tomatoes first and also, every single meal that you order always have tomatoes. So I figured, you must really love it a lot," she explained while looking at me softly, her smile not disappearing in her lips.

If I'm not awkward and all, I would've hugged Danielle-unnie right now. She notices those small details about me? Thinking about it, it makes my heart race. Why is she always like this? It makes me like her even more!

I smiled widely at her and pulled the pack into my chest, "Thank you so much for this, Danielle-unnie."

She smiled sweetly at me and pinched my cheek, leaving a burning sensation after. "You're welcome, Haerin-ah. You know, you're really cute when you smile. That's the reason why I always give you things you like. Because I want to see you smile always," she says as she stares at me.

That made me blush furiously. Why is she saying things like that?! That's not good for my poor heart! Danielle-unnie, why are you like this? I wanted to ask her that, but I can't.

Instead of saying anything, I looked away from her gaze. This made her giggle and pinch my other cheek.

"Unnie, stop pinching my cheek," I whined and turned around. My heart is gonna burst anytime if I continue looking at her pretty face.

She laughed and leaned on my chair, "I can't help it. Your cheeks are soft as a marshmallow and you're very cute." She poked my cheek multiple times as she was giggling.

What in the world are you doing to me, Danielle Marsh?

Before our class ended, I took my phone and texted Minji-unnie if we're gonna eat lunch together.

Class is about to finish
Are we gonna go get lunch together?

After a minute, she sent a reply.

I'm sorry, Haerin-ah.
I still have a bit of work to do
at the office.
I'll make it up to you tomorrow

I understand, unnie.
Don't worry about it.
Tomorrow then, and you better
treat me some avocado
