Class just ended a bit late than usual because our Arts teacher gave us a quiz after his lecture. Of course, I had a good score, in fact I was one with the highest score as Asa. I hope Minji-unnie did not wait too long. So, when we were officially dismissed, I immediately slung my bag on my shoulder and got ready to go out.

"Kang Haerin! Let's hang out at Chaewon-unnie's cafe. What do you say?" Eunchae threw her arm around my shoulder and grinned at me. Ehhh?

"Uh, I can't. I have to go home plus I think Minji-unnie's waiting for me," I say and carefully took her arm off from me. She and  Yeseo frowned while Kyujin pouted.

They've been inviting me to hang out but I always decline since I'm still not used to socializing and stuff like that. And knowing these three, I won't match their energy.

"Oh, come on, Haerin-ah. We haven't hung out since forever!" she says with exaggeration. I rolled my eyes because she's always this dramatic. Then my eyes caught Danielle-unnie on her phone, texting. It's a good thing that she doesn't join these girls' antics... yet.

"I will. Soon," I told her simply. She just snorted at me. I glared at her in response. Eunchae can be this annoying sometimes.

"Fine, fine. Next week, you cannot say no to us. Bye bye then!" she then happily skipped out of the classroom as Yeseo and Kyujin followed after bidding me goodbye as well.

Finally, peace and quiet..... I glanced at Danielle-unnie and was shocked to see her looking at me already, with that signature smile of hers that made my heart skip a beat. Gosh!

"Let's go, Haerin-ah!" she happily says and clung to my arm. My eyes widen and a blush painted my cheeks, I hope she won't notice that.

"I'm sorry, Danielle-unnie. But Minji-unnie an--"

"She's with Hanni-unnie right now, and we're gonna go to them so let's go," her voice filled with enthusiasm. I looked at in confusion.

"Where? Who told you that?"

She chuckled and started dragging me with her through the exit. "Hanni-unnie, of course. She texted me. They're at 7/11 now."

I had no other choice but to let myself be dragged to wherever she drags me.

I easily spot the two unnies who were laughing at one of the tables in 7/11, while eating ice cream and cream buns. When Minji-unnie saw us, she waved and called us over.

"Haerin-ah! Danielle!"

"Hey, kids!" Hanni-unnie greeted us as well. She looked happy and ecstatic. I wonder why...

"Hi, unnies!" Danielle-unnie greeted them back. She was still clinging to me and I was just standing awkwardly.

"Haerin-ah, sorry I was not able to fetch you. Good thing you agreed to go with Danielle. We'll go home a little later, okay?" Minji-unnie says. I nodded.

"You guys go get something to eat or drink. It's on me because we're celebrating!" Hanni-unnie told us as she still looked excited over something. She handed Danielle-unnie her card before the latter pulled me with her inside the convenient store.

"What do you want to get, Haerin?" Danielle-unnie asked me as she looked over to the stack of jellies on the side.

"Anything's fine, unnie," I told her.

This time she looked at me, as if analyzing my profile. "Hmm..."

I got anxious and couldn't look at her in the eye so I just pointed at some random biscuit on the other rack. "I'll have that one instead."

She tore her gaze from me and to the direction I pointed instead. She nodded slowly and then smiled as she took 2 random biscuits from that rack and then got 2 smoothies. I've been meaning to ask how she knew that I liked frogs and kitten when she gave me those cookies the other day.

"Um. Danielle-unnie?"

She gazed at me with a smile on her face, "Yes, Haerin?"

"The cookies you made tastes great. But why did you give me those shapes, especially the cute frog and kitten?"

She filled the 2 cups first then we went to the counter to pay for it. Then she turned to me.

"I always saw you drawing those during vacant times and I figured, you must like them a lot. And, you resemble them actually. You're very cute, Haerin," she says while pinching my cheek before turning to the cashier to get the card and foods.

My brain started to malfuction. Did I hear it right? She thinks I'm cute?! No way!

We joined the unnies after and learned that Hanni-unnie got accepted on the literature team. She was extremely happy about it. They didn't stop talking about it for the next 30 minutes while I just listened to them. I was still drowned on my own thoughts about earlier. I shouldn't put meanings on it because it was not that serious. I shook my head lightly.

"Haerin-ah, are you sleepy already? Should we go home now?" Minji-unnie looked at me worriedly. Same as the two other girls.

I shook my head and smiled lightly at them, "I'm okay, unnie."

She looked at her watch and got surprised. "Oh my gosh. I think we should go home now. It's already past 7pm."

"I guess we should go as well. Are you guys gonna take some cab or bus?" Hanni-unnie asked.

Minji-unnie shook her head. "Nope. Our houses are just a few blocks from here so we just walk there."

The two girls nodded. "I'll see you tomorrow then. I had a great time with y'all," Hanni-unnie says and smiled at us.

"Yeah. Us, too. Right, Haerin? We'll see you guys tomorrow. Be careful on your way home. Bye, Danielle! Bye, Hanni-ya!"

We started walking away and took the route to our home. "How was school today, Haerin-ah?" Minji-unnie asked happily.

I shrugged, "Same as usual, unnie."

I just remembered something... "Minji-unnie, are you free this weekend? Do you want to come and hang out at my place?" Danielle-unnie is gonna be there because of our assignment and it'll be awkward if we'll spend that time together alone so I should ask this unnie to be there too.

"Of course! But first I have to do some errands then I'll go to your house after. Do you want to play video games this time?" she asked with a cheeky smile. Well, other than reading or writing, unnie loves to play games and all.

"Maybe. After I finish my assignment, unnie."

She hummed, "Cool." Then we chatted a bit more and I finally arrived at my house. Hyein was there again and began invading my room. Aigoo.

I made time and updated because I was stressed on my thesis 😂 And also because maybe some of you might think that I ain't gonna continue this story. Nope, that's not gonna happen 😁
Anyway, that's it. I'll be busy again and update if I have the time. Wish me luck on my study, that way, I can update as much as I can.
