"Minji-unnie?" I heard Haerin call. I looked up from my notes and noticed her looking seriously at me. I set my pen down and raised my brows for her to continue.

"What is it, Haerin-ah?" I asked when she just turned silent and was contemplating. We were chilling at their house and waiting for Hyein who was at the convenience store buying snacks. The kid asked for help on her assignment and since I wasn't that busy, I came to help. So as her way of thanking me, she presented to buy us some snacks.

She looked like she's thinking of what to say. Hmm, something's bothering her, I guess. "Are you okay? What's bothering you?" I once again asked and went to sit beside her. She looked away for a while with a pout. Eh?

"Unnie, I wanted to ask a question but don't think of it as a big deal, okay? And forget about it after," she says in a serious tone as she looked at me again. It was always her thing to stare and I'm already used to it. I nodded at her.

"Alright. Fire away," I ushered her to proceed with the question. It must be bugging her for her to be this anxious.

"Okay. So, there's this person. Whenever I see them, I keep getting this weird feeling in my chest. Especially when I see them smile at me. And I keep on thinking about them for a while now. My question is, is it possible that I already like this person?" I was surprised and shook to the core. Mainly because this was probably the longest time I heard Haerin talk and she is talking about her feelings. I blinked for a few times and thought about it. Hmm..

"Hmm... you have a crush on this person then. But considering the weird feeling you feel, I think yes, you like this person. If you can't get them off your mind, then it is certain that you do like them," I say. Well, that's based on my perspective. I'm not sure about what she feels though. Now it piques my curiosity. I wonder who Haerin is referring to.

She looked ahead and became silent for a while. It looked like she was thinking real hard. I just waited for her to talk and respond to my answer.

"Thanks, Minji-unnie. Can you not tell anyone that I asked this?" she says after a while.

I nodded, "Sure. But, if you don't mind me asking, who are you talking about?" I was curious. She looked startled. Like a cat who was caught taking a fish from the table.

She was looking anywhere but me and I find it really cute, add to that her flustered state.

"U-uh... j-just someone, unnie. I-I'll tell you next time," she then buried her face on the book she's reading. I giggled and went back to my original place. Hyein came back with some pizza and bubble tea.

"Unnies! I met someone at the convenience store. She was really pretty and really nice. She treated me some choco pies since my money was all used up for the bubble tea," Hyein was already talking even if she was still at the doorstep.

"Hyein, set everything down first," I laughed at the cute maknae who was rambling.

"Yes. So as I was saying, this pretty unnie came to the rescue when I wanted to get some choco pie but I wasn't able to when I ran out of money. And then she told me to get the choco pie and it's on her! She's an angel, I'm telling you!" she plopped on the floor with a big grin on her face. I pat her head and nodded. We just listened to her stories... well, actually it was just me since Haerin was in deep thought since our conversation. I let her be.

"Anyway, guys. I have to go now. It's getting late already," I stood up and fixed my shirt. Haerin jolted up as well.

"Unnie! You're coming tomorrow, right?" She asked. I nodded. She sighed in relief and smiled a little at me. "Okay. Actually, unnie, Danielle-unnie is gonna come over for our assignment. She's my partner for a project. But after our assignment, we can play video games." Oh. Danielle's coming over tomorrow? I wonder if Hanni is gonna come too.
