I propped my head on the table while waiting for the next subject to start. I frowned and whined quietly as I buried my head on my arms.

"Alright, what's wrong with you today? You seem out of it since the beginning of the class." Liz's voice made me stop squirming around. I faced her while still resting my head on my arms.

"I don't know. It's just that.... well, Minji. I didn't get to talk to her yesterday because the broadcasting team borrowed her with some coverage whatever. And then today, she was not at the office too. I was lonely and I miss hanging out with her at the office before class starts," I told her then buried my face on the table again. Pfft. Yes, it's childish, but I got used to seeing her first before every classes. My day hasn't been complete since yesterday.

"Oh. Yeah, Rei told me about that. Well, you can't blame them. I'm sure Minji told you that the broadcasting team only has a few members and she fits perfectly to be in that team, too." She shrugs.

"I know that very well. She fits perfectly anywhere you put her. An ace. The ideal girl. One I can't have," I buried my face on my arms once again. This is one of those days where I let my inner child take over my brain for a while and whine about silly things. It's not even that serious, mind you.

I heard Liz laugh, making me turn to her with a glare. "Pham Hanni, I've never seen you throw a tantrum like this before. Why don't you just go and talk to her later? I'm sure she's not busy all the time. And acquiring some of her time is not so bad at all." She suggests.

"Fine. I'll do that. I just hope I could spend more time with her today, I just miss her so much," I muttered the last part so that Liz wouldn't hear it, but the girl obviously did because she smirked at me. If I could just wipe that stupid grin on her face, I would!

"Simp, smitten. Those are your adjectives, if you ask me."

I rolled my eyes at her and said, "Shut up, Liz."

I was really hoping to see Minji today so I looked for her during lunch break. After searching the whole building, I went to the field because Rei told me that Minji was there. I even became the receiving end of her teasing, as she points out about how much of a simp I am. Tsk. Her and Liz really are meant for each other. They are both annoying as heck!

After some time, I spot her under a tree while looking at the papers in her hand and a laptop in front of her. I guess she really is busy. Good thing I already bought sandwiches and light snacks on the way. I figured that she might decline my invitation of going for lunch so I decided to just join her.

She was so busy that she didn't even notice me standing beside her already. Some of her hair was blocking her view so she tucked them neatly behind her ears, which made my heart skip a beat. Seriously, even the simplest things she does leaves my heart in an abnormally state.

"You sure are busy. I bet you haven't even had lunch yet," I spoke after composing myself. Finally noticing me, she looked up and was surprised to see me. A wide smile then formed in her lips.

"Hanni. What are you doing here?" The tone of her voice was somewhat happy and it warmed my heart. I sat down beside her, close to her to the point that our arms are already touching. It sent a tingling sensation on my insides but I masked it by leaning to see her work on her laptop.

"I was looking for you everywhere. And, well... I kinda missed you," I say and turned away when she snapped her head to look at me. I felt my blood rushing towards my face. That was kinda blunt, but it's the truth so.....

She did not say anything for a while and it stirred my anxiety. Stupid Hanni, she'll probably think you're weird. But, it was not that weird, wasn't it? My mind was slowly eating me up until I heard her chuckle as her hand ruffled my hair.
