4 glasses. She had consumed 4 glasses of water and she wasn't sure how she was still nervous. Honestly, if she was of age, she would have asked for alcohol. Oh, wait. She was 19. Well 18, but, eh, who cares about 1 year? And Korean age-wise she was 20. She could try being sneaky.
Maybe another time. When she isn't buried under a shit-ton of emotions, stress, tension and over-complicated feelings.
She pressed her hands on her lap, under the table with the hopes that it won't be noticed.
Her watch said 11.58 AM
Irene was supposed to meet her at exactly 12. She had 2 more minutes.
With a deep breath, she reached to fill her glass from the water jar once again before drinking it.
She was almost done when she heard footsteps and the scraping of the adjacent chair.
"Eonnie!" she smiled as Irene gave her a tight hug.
"How are you feeling?"
"Better," she muttered before she pulled and got wrapped in another pair of arms.
"You had us worried, Win," Seulgi added
"Sorry. Didn't mean to. I'm sorry."
"You have nothing to apologize for. Anxiety attacks are just terrible." Seulgi sternly said, "so what do you want to eat?"
Winnie blinked, eyes wide, "It's fine. I'll p-"
And she shut up when Irene shot her that glare. Right. Elders pay for food.
"Anything vegetarian is fine," she replied
Irene nodded before flagging a waiter and placing their orders.
"Now, what happened?" the oldest asked, reaching for her hand.
Winnie took a deep breath before starting to tell her tale.

"...now the company wants to evaluate me if I want to get evaluated. If I score well, I get into Chan's group and if I score badly, I'd be a part of his group's production team. Or that's the agreement he has gone for. And I really don't know what to do."
"Chan really isn't ready to let you go, is he?" Seulgi chuckled
"I don't think he is." Winnie muttered, "But how is any of this my fault? Opportunities like Big Hit don't come often." she took a sip of her soft drink, "and the worst part, he did all of that by going behind my back."
"People do stupid things when they are scared of losing people they love and care about," Irene noted, slightly nodding, "Have you spoken to someone at Big Hit? About this?"
She shook her head.
Irene hummed. "Winnie, how much do you want to become an idol?"
"See that's the thing. A part of me is content with being a producer. Another part of me wants to go for this opportunity of becoming an idol."
"You do know this life isn't all glitz and glam, right?" Seulgi carefully asked
"Of course."
The two older women exchanged a glance before nodding.
"If you want our advice, first talk to someone at Big Hit. Tell them of this situation and ask if this opportunity stands even after you decide to be a part of this project group and it doesn't work out." Seulgi started
"If it stands, if that's how bad Big Hit wants you, then take your chance with this group. Take part. Compete or whatever is required. Worse comes to worst, you don't make it to be an idol but still have your Big Hit offer. Or whatever offer your company throws your way. Whichever you find suitable." Irene added
