Ever since that argument they had at her apartment, Winnie had avoided Chan. It was a good thing she knew his schedule by heart so it was easy. And it was not just her. He avoided her just as much as she did. He didn't come to her studio or apartment looking for her. He knew he had fucked up.
It was only after a week of no-show, that Winnie found that Chan was actually in the USA along with Lily after getting sky-high evaluation scores. A part of her was upset that he didn't mention anything to her before going to the U.S. of fucking A. But another part of her was relieved that he won't be here to see the mess.
Winnie asked JYP if he could give the news to Chan when he'd return, rather than herself, telling him that they were currently not on the best of speaking terms and that he had left the country for a holiday.
JYP frowned a little until Winnie promised that she'd talk to Chan and eventually sort the situation out.
So here she was, about three whole weeks after the whole fiasco and a week after the evaluation results came out sitting in her studio with Jisung and Changbin, listening to the lyrics they had come up with for their new SoundCloud entry, with Felix just lounging there doing some Korean language workbook, when the door barged open.
The four of them turned to see Chan, panting, covered half in sweat.
"Hey hyung. Everything alright?" Changbin asked
Instead of replying, Chan crossed the room in like four steps and practically tackled her into a hug.
If it wasn't for Felix catching her chair, she'd have fallen to the ground, in her chair and Chan on top of her.
"Are you okay?" she asked
"I'm so sorry," he muttered, pressing her face in the crook of her neck.
"Hey, Channie. What's up?" she asked, carding her fingers through his hair. She exchanged a look with Felix, Changbin and Jisung and shrugged when they shot her questioning looks.
He finally pulled and held her shoulders
" Thank you! "
" Uh, you are welcome? " she replied
"I, uh, I," he panted, licking his lips before continuing, "I just got the news. I...thank you."
She smiled and nodded, "It's okay. I mean, it was pretty tempting."
"What news?" Felix asked
Chan straightened, "The group I am making, the upcoming boy group, well it's no longer a boy group."
"What?" Jisung asked
"It's a coed group now," Chan added
"Who are the members so far?" Winnie asked
"Uh...I've got these two and Allen." Chan pointed at the other two of 3RACHA.
"Allen, yeah I've heard of him. Never met him. So that's the dancer you got."
Chan nodded.
"Two rappers and a dancer, okay." Winnie nodded
"And a vocalist," Chan added, gesturing to her
She smiled softly, "And a vocalist."
"Okay, I'm lowkey confused," Felix spoke up
"Didn't understand it entirely but I'm confused too," Changbin added
"Me too," Jisung said
Winnie smiled softly, "After the Big Hit offer, Chan got extremely jealous and insecure-"
