Avoiding Creeps and chasing baby Noche the entire time.
While she adventures the story cuts to the future and focuses on various members of MoveCity. Including Raptorman, Milkman, Melody, Mr. Musical, and Dharma. However, once Noche gets to the yellow room, we stick with her. It is there she regains her memories by watching them play on TV.
She exits the yellow room, sees Dia attack the group, and joins the fight. Noche is killed multiple times and learns she is basically immortal. For every time she dies, she resurrects in a new body. During the fight Mary disappears and this causes Alice to go berserk. She transforms into a god like being and kills Noche.
However the blonde learns that this realm is a reflection of her mind and she's basically omnipotent here. Noche defeats Alice, recovers her repressed memories, and manages to open a portal back to reality. Everyone escapes and learns President Medusa is dead.
LONG VERSION
Book three begins with Noche waking up in a surreal world and separated from her friends. She finds a child version of herself that she names baby Noche and attempts to catch her, but the small clone escapes. A moment later, a talking rabbit leads Noche to a woman named Grasshopper.
Meanwhile, all of Noche's friends find each other in a different part of this strange world. They discover the dark god that attacked them at the bottom of DeathTech is the fairytale monster named Creeps. For a brief instance they believe they have all died, but Shaylin quickly reasons that is not the case. As they wrap up this discussion, Raven appears.
Grasshopper reveals this world reacts to Noche's emotional state as they walk and her appearance changes with her mental state. At the same time, Raven explains he's no longer hostile to the party and is willing to help escape here. Shaylin is happy to accept because she figured out his secret and is willing to use it as blackmail to ensure he behaves.
Meanwhile, Noche and Grasshopper begin to search for baby Noche. In the process they learn that Creeps has followed them to this surreal realm. Thoughts of despair begin to hamper Noche, but she is saved by a being of light that she believes to be Jack. Grasshopper and Noche make it to a beach where a black closet is waiting on the sands.
Elsewhere, Shaylin and the party make small talk as they explore the area. In a flash they find themselves standing in a copy of Noche's childhood room. They leave to find the Cross Asylum a small distance away. Inside they find evidence that human experimentation is being done in secret. The group quickly arrives at the bottom floor and find a onyx statue of Medusa on her knees.
While that is happening, Noche reluctantly enters the closet, where it falls into the ocean and transforms into a boat. Grasshopper stays behind and sacrifices herself which causes Noche to subconsciously call her mom. It isn't long before Noche floats in the middle of the ocean. After a few surreal moments she finds herself approaching a waterfall at the world's edge.
During which, Shaylin and the gang theorize that this surreal world reflects both past and future events in Noche's life. As some of Noche's memories play out, the group encounters Dia. Meanwhile, Noche falls over the waterfall only to have the world reset. She falls over the edge again and again until she stops trying to resist the current.
