"So, Joey how have you been?" The pharaoh asked in his baritone voice. Joey flung and arm around his head and grinned suspiciously.

*~~~~~Flashback~~~~~*

Joey sighed heavily. He was alone on the roof top, sat on the railing, his legs dangling over the edge. He had walked out of English again. No matter how hard he tried, school just didn't do anything for him. With his friends still struggling with the loss of the pharaoh, everything had reached its low point. Though things were slowing beginning to pick up, it would still take a while for everything to heal.

Suddenly the door to the roof swung open. Joey didn't even bother to look. To his surprise, Seto Kaiba came and sat on the railing alongside him. What shocked Joey even more was that he didn't say anything insulting for a good few minutes.

"Hey, I was enjoying this moment before you showed up. What you doin' here rich boy eh?"

"Calm down boy, no need to get feisty. Clearly you've had a day as rough as mine." Kaiba stated.

"I'm not a dog! How many times do I have to tell you!"

"At least a hundred more..." The brunette joked. "I can see why you come up here. It's is rather peaceful, if it wasn't more your ugly mug, it would be perfect." He scoffed.

"That's it! I'm leaving... Thanks for ruining my happy place." He smaller male huffed.

"Sit down Wheeler."

Joey obliged and sat down. They sat in silence for a while, only the sound of their breath slipping out every so often. Joey couldn't handle it. He eventually broke the silence or he would have started going crazy.

"Rough day uh? What could be rough for the CEO of a multimillion dollar corporation." The blonde grew curious.

"My brother is in the hospital. He was beaten in order to get at me. I couldn't protect him."

The ex-gang member could see the brunette was punishing himself. Almost forgetting who he was talking to, he tried to comfort the other. "Kaiba, I have seen the bond you share with your brother and I know you would never let anything happen to him within your sight. All it takes is a second when your not looking and it happens. But it's not your fault at all."

"Stop getting all mushy on me Wheeler. I promised I would protect him. I broke that promise." Kaiba sighed heavily.

"Don't be so hard on yourself. It happens."

"I'm not taking advice from a dog."

Joey growled.

"So why are you up here?" The CEO darted back viciously.

"My friends and I are still shook up over the pharaoh leaving. We have never felt so far apart."

Kaiba didn't say a word to start. But after a brief moment of silence, he decided to speak up.

"I can't believe I'm gonna say this but I'm sorry." Joey's eyes widened. Did Kaiba just apologise?!

"So your not completely heartless?" He said smiling at the ground.

"Don't get used to it Wheeler." A small smile broke out on Kaiba's face. Joey had never seen Kaiba smile at anything like this. The blonde stared at the young CEO and then did something without thinking.

Joey leaned in gently brushed his lips against Kaiba's. His hands gripped tight on the railing as he realised what he had done, and knew all too well he was in for a beating. He quickly pulled away and gulped. Kaiba stared at the younger boy with shock.

Both of their tongues were frozen but before Joey could comprehend what to do next, Kaiba stood. He then grabbed the ex-gang member by the collar and yanked him to his feet. Joey coward in fright. But Kaiba did something the other did not expect; fiercely smashing his lips onto Joey's.

*~~~~~End of Flashback~~~~~*

"Spit it out Joey." Yugi pressured.

"Well, I'm actually moving out; like you." He beamed, but clearly holding something back.

"Oh, that's cool. But why are you leaving?" The smaller male questioned.

"Same reason as you did."

Yugi and Yami started at the blonde with unease. They were beyond confused.

"There was this incident on the roof top of the school with Kaiba and we kinda just set off from there. He asked me if I wanted to move in with him for some more privacy. But we are done for if anyone finds out so please don't tell anyone."

"Wow, Joey that's. Great! I mean, I thought you and Kaiba were mortal enemies but the fact you put aside your differences and actually got together is amazing! Congrats Joey."

"Thanks Yug." The ex-gang member blushed wildly.

"I am glad you have put aside your differences. Love really does conquer all." The pharaoh nodded, a small smile tugging at his lips.

The smallest male laughed. "If Kaiba was actually willing to let Joey of all people into his life, it must do."

Okay, so I was really stuck on what to write next. This was just a filler type chapter. Please, I need some ideas. It would be a great help!
