It was a cold morning as the temperature was less than ten degrees, Helen shrugged it off as she prepared breakfast for Grace - who was returning to work today - the blonde happily kissed her mama's cheek softly as she smiled.
Once breakfast was done and sorted, Helen dropped off Grace at Holby City before heading to work, she went to her office (which was an unearthly freezing cold room). Walking over to the heating and switching it on, the brunette walked over to her side where the kettle was and switched on. Just as she was getting the cups ready for a hot drink, her phone pinged with a text message which she opened and read aloud to herself; "Stay out of this case Lynley! It has nothing to do with you. Signed Killer Queen." She wasn't one for taking orders and simply replied back to the killer that she wouldn't stay out of the case.
The killer responded; "I mean it Lynley, stay out of it!" With that she put her phone down on her desk and returned to the side where the kettle was still boiling, the killer wasn't scaring her, rather annoying her because the case wasn't to do with her. As she pondered over the cups, her phone pinged again and she picked it up to find that she had a picture text. Still, she opened the text and was horrified to find a picture of herself and Tommy at her and Danielle's house the previous night, then the following words appeared on the screen; "Stay out of this case or this photo goes viral and you will get hurt Lynley." Helen slammed her phone on the side and broke down in tears.
Later on, Tommy knocked on the door and she let them in, he noticed that she had been crying and asked her what was wrong. Helen explains to him that the Killer Queen got her number and has threatened to send a photo of them on the internet and that she would be hurt. Tommy comforts her, then they sit down along with George, John, Barbara, Jill and Shane.
Helen looks at the case files; "Well given the killings, I would say that your killer has undiagnosed PTSD given the history with violence. John Kramer has inspired our mystery killer, but post traumatic stress disorder comes into this, whoever your killer Queen is and given what they are capable of, is PTSD undiagnosed." Helen explained as they agreed with her.
"Could our killer know that they even have PTSD?" Asked Jill to Helen who shook her head in response; "Not if it hasn't been diagnosed by a professional doctor, no. Even approaching the killer is out of the question, regardless of whether or not they have been diagnosed with PTSD. For all we know, the killer doesn't even have any knowledge of this given their sarcasm towards the police."
"This person is dangerous..." Interrupts John as they look at him.
"Yes, and approaching the killer in person is dangerous too. I mean, how do you know that the killer won't attack you? You don't."
"None of us do. Like Helen said, this killer could be anyone in plain sight. We simply don't know who the Killer Queen is or why they have even started this now." Announced Shane while agreeing with Helen, just then they all got a text from the Killer Queen which read; "The time has come to stop my spree! I shall rest for now but I am always here and I will keep to my word. Goodbye to all, signed Killer Queen." Read Tommy aloud as they looked at each other with worried looks on their faces.
The screen goes black by Chris De Burgh "Where Peaceful Waters Flow" plays over the credits.
