The Killer Queen Returns

*Sixteen years later*

It has been sixteen years since the Killer Queen had killed anyone, the police kept their eyes open as they waited for the killer to strike again.

London was starting to get back to normal as everyone began to let their children play on the streets, the murders hit cold cases and was placed into the archives in case a breakthrough ever occurred, in other words, the police were still waiting for a slip up from the killer.

However, it was April 2018, and John had a patient who was saying that he was having neurological problems but his body was displaying other symptoms. John got out his phone and had texted Marcus Dunn for a second opinion, Marcus left St James Hospital and headed to Holby as they were also looking for a second neurologist to help John as Jace Hardware had not turned up.

Marcus pulled up in the car park and saw Bernie on her break, they had a quick chat before returning to work, Marcus headed for the Keller ward where he met John Wolfe. "Hello John, What's wrong with this patient of yours? Give me everything you know so far." Asked Marcus as John nodded before replying.

"Mr Johnson, 35, is complaining of neurological problems such as never ending headaches. Now I have done every test that comes with neurological problems.."

"And?" Said Marcus as they walked side by side, John continued; "I have noticed a skin rash on his arms and legs which I diagnosed as neurodermatitis is a condition where sensory nerves in the skin lead to inflammation due to overexpression of mast cells. Mast cells are in connective tissue in the body. They contain histamine which is released in injury, allergies, and inflammatory reactions, but there are no records within his family to suggest any inherited neurological problems."

"Which could mean what?"

"That either his parents are carriers, or he has developed it on his own either through an injury or dietary food habits. I'm at a loss Marcus, this has stumped me that's why I asked you for a second opinion."

"I'm glad you did, because I haven't even come across a case like this. Let's take a look at the patient, have you done an MRI scan?"

"Yes, just waiting for the results, I will chase them up."

"Ok, oh order for a cat scan just in case the MRI scan doesn't show us anything. Mainly as a back up." Marcus said as John nodded, then Marcus went to see the patient and was quite astounded by what he saw, John ordered for the car scan, and got the results back from the MRI scan.

John returns with the MRI scan results and shows them to Marcus; "Mr Johnson it seems you have a brain injury, have you banged your head?"

"Not that I remember no. I've been working, and the headaches have just started. Why?" He replied to Marcus who had a very concerned look on his face. "The MRI scan has picked up on your memory loss and your lack of coordination, which means something is wrong." He replied handing the tablet back to John before turning his attention to the skin rash. "The skin rash is Neurocutaneous." He said as Mr Johnson is shocked at the diagnosis; "What's that?" He asked Marcus for more information.

Marcus replied softly; "Neurocutaneous disorders are a group of congenital multisystem diseases that result in the growth of tumours in the brain, spinal cord, skin and other organs. It is a neurological problem as Dr Wolfe was right to call me for a second opinion, the tumour in your is caused by this disease."

Mr Johnson nodded; "What about treatment Doc?"

Marcus sighed heavily; "A neurocutaneous syndrome is a lifelong condition that has no cure. In some cases, surgery may be done to remove tumors that may be cancer or for cosmetic reasons. We can remove the tumours but it is a lifelong condition which would also require monthly check-ups, for new tumours." Marcus explained as Mr Johnson listened nodded.

The two surgeons left him be as he thought it over, Marcus told John not to blame himself but did praise him for calling him for a second opinion, a few hours later Mr Johnson called them back and had agreed to do the monthly check-ups following every removal of tumours.

Meanwhile, Leah had just joined Holby City as a stand in, and she was constantly flirting with Serena but the latter was not interested at all. Leah would pinch Serena's bum, and would occasionally dress inappropriately to gain Serena's attention but it never worked.

Serena would constantly ignore her, and wouldn't even acknowledge Leah in any conversation, so Leah decided on a different approach instead. She went out and bought Serena some sexy lingerie which she later put in the bin, Bernie found it and Serena tells her about Leah. However, Bernie tells her mother about Leah, and Danielle warns her to stay away from her daughter-in-law.

Leah never listened to her, and continued to try and get into Serena's knickers, she even began to send the silver haired surgeon naked pictures of herself, and later naked pictures of Serena. Danielle let Serena come stay with her for security, upon arriving at work the following morning, Leah pinched Serena's bum but Danielle stood in between them; "Touch my daughter-in-law again, and I will end you! Got it Faulkner, good now stay away from my family." She said as Leah just looked at her, then she left with Serena.

(Eight months later)

It was now December 2018, Danielle was working the night shift as her aunt Jac had to go home as Emma (Danielle's cousin and Jac's daughter) was poorly. Serena was working the late shift as Bernie was in theatre working on a trauma victim, Serena had a headache so she went to lie down for a bit.

While Danielle was in theatre working on a heart transplant, Leah found Serena, after leaving theatre with Dr March, Danielle had a feeling that something wasn't right. Upon entering her office, Danielle saw her daughter-in-law in tears and she immediately comforted her. Serena then tearfully admitted what Leah had done to her, and Danielle is furious.

However, Leah celebrates with her family but is later kidnapped and drugged by the Killer Queen, and is taken to an abandoned area. The killer enters the room and Leah spits in their face, however the killer punches her in the face before leaving the room and the telly switches on. "Hello Leah Faulkner, a rapist of women, you ignored the warnings to stay away from Serena but tonight you will pay the price. As you can see, the sand will keep dripping from the ceiling as the laser beam will cut through your body. Admitting your sins won't save you now, this is payback and it's a bitch isn't it? Goodbye Leah Faulkner, your reign of evil ends tonight." With that the telly switches off as Leah screams, the laser cuts through her body as the sand begins to cover her face which she ends up swallowing as a result.

After she dies, her body is dumped by the river along with a note to the police. It was early morning, when Jill's phone rings and it's Tommy. A few minutes later, she arrives at the scene as Shane fills her in; "The victim is Leah Faulkner, 29, a stand-in at Holby City hospital. She was out celebrating with her friends, but never made it home as she was kidnapped and drugged by the Killer Queen. This was with her body, Ma'am when it was found." He explained as she took the note and read it.

"How long will it be before every single rapist is finally locked up where they belong. Leah Faulkner made her last sexual assault last night, she was never caught by the police, but then again neither was Evan Crowhurst. Time is running for you all, when I find Evan Crowhurst he will die at my hand, so he can never hurt another woman ever again. Signed Killer Queen."

"The killer is going after Evan Crowhurst, we need to find him before the killer does." Said George as Tommy agreed with him; "Better yet, how about finding the other rapists to protect them as well." Stated Tommy as Shane and the others agreed.
