The clouds above grew to be an evident gray.
Hitai cursed under his breath as he watched the three Na'vi girls walk off into the distance. They were now out of sight and he tore his gaze away and glared at Ao'nung who still managed to contain the hard grasp over his arm.
Ao'nungs' expression seemed bored but his ill silence was enough for Hitai to feel uneasy. He'd tried to jerk his arm away but Ao'nung only grasped it even tighter.
"Hell is you doing?" Hitai spat, still angry over the previous events.
Ao'nung wasn't having it, not today. His silent anger only rose once he remembered the girl's hateful glance she'd tossed him before leaving. He hated it, she couldn't do that. Not now, not after she'd ghosted him the softest look only a mere two days ago. "What'd I say about her?"
Hitais' eyes swept around the rest of the silent group, their gazes wary. He scowled in visible anger. "That was years ago fuck if I remember." He forced a chuckle.
"What did I say?" It wasn't a question.
Hitai scowled, a deep frown emitted along his features. "Relax. It was nothing." He soured at the fact that he was feeling anxious by someone younger than him. The unsettled crowd worsened his feelings.
"I don't care." Ao'nung stated, his gaze darkened. Repeating himself with a tilt to his head, "What did I say?"
Hitai felt his composure falter, anger taking over him. "What're you gonna do?" His voice was steady with mirth as he felt Ao'nung tense. "Hm?" He taunted, "You gonna sucker punch me like you did Tsu'ata or better yet.. Tackle me off a fucking cliff like you did Mi'ato?" He chuckled, darkly. "I'd like to see you try, honestly."
A small wry grin crept along Ao'nungs' features. But in his rage, Hitai decided he didn't care. "Being the leaders prized son doesn't mean you hold any control over us."
"I'll give you one last chance." There was a daring smile in his eyes.
"Two years and all she's done is fucking ignore you." Hitai sneered, "You have no claim."
"No claim?" Ao'nungs' voice was deceptively soft, but sliced through the air like a blade.
His eyes laced evil.
"She isn't yours—" Hitais' sentence went unfinished as he'd tried to harshly jerk his arm away once again. But Ao'nung caught on and had pulled the boy closer toward himself, allowing his clenched fist to meet the stunned boys' face.
Hitai staggered, his back met the ground. Ao'nung was quick to get on top, holding him in place. Hitais' arms began to flail around aimlessly.
"C'mon Hitai." Ao'nung sneered, his malicious smirk in place as he continued punching the older teen. Blow after blow. "Entertain me!" He shouted as Hitai couldn't defend himself even if he tried. All bark and no bite, he was.
That's how it always was. Hitai had always relied on the group for his wrongdoings. He'd never seen himself actually going against the group itself—He began to plead, feeling a fist meet his open mouth causing him to cough and spit a bloody tooth out.
The rest of the group eyed each other in mutual panic as they watched and heard Hitai struggle against an enraged Ao'nung. In an instant, three of them went to pull Ao'nung away from the beaten boy whilst the other went to aid Hitai.
Ao'nung harshly shrugged himself away from the restraining hold the three teen boys' held him in. He didn't bother to voice any words as he walked off in another direction in discontent. Wiping away the blood from his newly grazed knuckles.
