New BF!?

My mom and I went though the rest of the day without asking about what has happen. When I woke up the next day with a note on my desk:

Dear May,
Out shopping. Be good :)

Mom

I walked to the living room. Sat in my seat and turned on the tv. I watch whatever I wanted to watch. Until the my phone ring.

"Hello?"

"May I found someone!" My mom was on the other end

"What?"

"I can't explain. Talk to you later." She hang up before I could ask another question. What is she talking about?

I changed into shorts and a tank top and went to the door. And went outside. It was midday and the sun was high up. I started to walk on the sidewalk next to my porch.

"MAY!!!" I jumped and turned to see my mom with a guy and a teenage boy. I walked up to my mom and hug her. "Oh, this is Steve, my boyfriend. And his son, John."

I looked at the two guys. Steve looked about 40's and have little brown hair and brown eyes. John looked little my age with jet black hair and the same brown eyes like his father. Steve looked at me and then back at my mother.

John smiled at me and stick out his hand. "My name is May. May-"

"Flower. It's really nice name. Hey um. Not trying to sound nosey but have you meet anyone else here?" John asked taking his hand away.

"Um. Yea." I said returning my hand back to my side.

"Who?"

"Um. Arrow Cross and Alex Rivera."

"That's it?"

"Yep," I said. I looked over and see my mother letting Steve into our house. "I think you are staying here John."

He turns and sees it too. He shrugs his shoulders and turn back to me. "Let's go before they lock it."

We walked back to the house. John let me go in after my mom and Steve got into the house.
