He was sitting there where once was empty. "Hey May," said Alex. I looked at him. He started to laugh in silence. "You can eat. I promise it won't bit." And with that he laughed again. He started to lay back on the chair and smiled. And I can see a little bit of white. Fangs.

My hungry took over and I started to eat. When I was half way finish with my food I looked up and see Alex laying back of the chair with nothing in front of him. "Are you going to eat?"

"Nah. I ate while I was waiting for u." His face turn from kindness to a serious. And then he moved forward and put his elbows on the table and looked into my eyes. "Are you afraid? Not just of me but of everything." He asked.

I looked at him for what seems to be forever. I cleared my throat. "I'm mostly afraid of what's going on. Cause, well, I don't know what's going on. One day I'm a normal teen that's going into a new high school then all of sudden my whole world flips. There's vampires, werewolves, and rebels who are trying to kill them or humans." I paused to breath. "It's scary not knowing what's going on."

Alex breathed out and relax back to his chair. "Do you understand the whole rebels thing?" He asked.

"No"

"Okay, rebels, by name of course, is against what everyone else is going like the hippies and all. But what they are against is more dangerous. They don't want peace with other breeds." He paused for what it looks is to regain thoughts. "The rebels over humans in the town of Ree is very dangerous. They will find who every they want. And how you know that they are looking for you, or to put it better spying on you to make sure you don't break them. But once they spot you, you are forever doomed to death."

"So why at me? I just came here."

Alex looked down. "That I do not know." I paused and just looked at him. The tension grew every second. "Don't worry May. That's why we have u here. It's temporary."
