Brothers

I woke up to the sound of walking. I try to open my eyes, but my eyes felt so heavy I couldn't. "Don't worry sweetie you don't need to see me." A sweet voice that I heard before, Angel. I try to open my mouth, but it also felt to heavy to left. "Aw. Don't worry. This is me. Angel." I stayed still mostly cause everything felt HEAVY!!! "Yea," he paused. "I have a twin named Demon. Don't laugh. In our culture, when you have twins they have to opposite names. Yin Yang, all that. So, he should be opposite of me, sadly, he looks exactly like me. Now after that, you are wondering why are you here, where's your friends, and what happen when you are asleep." He paused. I heard to door open and close.

"Would you shut up Angel!? Be glad I gave you time with your," the voice sounds like Angel's but darker. "Sweetheart. Now come on we got to go."

"I'll be there in a minute Demon." Angel said.

"Fine," the door open and shut again. 

"I'll tell you whatever you need when I come back." I felt his lips on my forehead. "See you soon sweetie." And with that the door open and close. 

The room felt empty and cold. I try, finally, to see what I have to work with. I move my hands, free, arms, free, legs, free, body. Completely free. I try to open my eyes again and success. I see the room had a bed that I'm laying and nothing else, but the door. The color was white brick and the door was steel the bed was a full size bed when plain white sheets and light blue blanket at the end of the bed. I started to get up from the bed, but the side of my stomach got a sharp pain that made me lay back down on the bed. I lift my shirt to see nothing wrong. I touch the spot where the pain was and nothing. So I try to get back up and the pain came back. Ugh! So I'm stuck in the bed.

I lay in the bed for hours. Waiting. Finally I came to sleep again.

I woke up to the sound of the door and the smell of the food. I open my eyes to see Angel/Demon at the door with food in his hand. A smile come to his face and a laugh. "It's breakfast time sweetie." Angel. "Can you get up without the pain?" I looked at him questioning how he knew about the pain. I try to get up and found it better to get up and sat up in the bed ready for the food to come. He laughed again. "Here," he shut the door and walked to me. "Bacon and eggs with pancake and some apple juice." The tray wasn't a lie, bacon, eggs, pancakes, and apple juice. I look up to see his smile. "Oh, don't worry your friends are fine. And the food is good too. Demon didn't touch it or anything to poison it." I can see he is not lying from the white of his eyes. So, I started to eat the food. "So, you are here cause we need you. You already know my brother and I are not normal creatures. We are angels. Like what you see on paintings we help humans. But what people don't know is we also need to feed like vampires and we turn like werewolves, but not that hairy. Now we don't bite like vampires, but we take life souls which can be small, but need a lot of it or as large as the whole soul which kills the person. Now we aren't picky on the feed, so we hunt vampires and werewolves to protect humans, but if the humans attack us we will fight back. So the other breeds calls us the hunters of everything." He paused and laughed. "Now the turning is only when want to unlike werewolves and we are better looking when we do, but we don't have the control we do when we are like this." 

I started to zone out after that cause he went into his life with his brother who was much more violet then him. When I finally finish eating I asked, "So, Demon killed Alex's sister?"

He looked at me with sadness in his eyes. "Yes," he sighed. "Now you are here." He is changing subject.  "You have to pick from us. Or more of the four of us." he smiled. "Now you don't need to rush. We got all your life to decide. Now what is it you are choosing? We really don't know. But we think it has to do with -" I zoned out again.

Maybe coming to Ree wasn't a good idea. But what is it about me that makes me so important. All I am is a common girl that moved to a city all of sudden vampires, werewolves, and angels are all real. Wait.

"Does it have something to do with my father?"
