Still Demon's

After Angel was gone. Houdini and Achilles left. Leaving me and May alone again.

"You get some sleep May," by this time she was sitting in her bed looking at the floor.

"I think I'm ready to fly." She said. My heart sank for her. She really would like it but not being this unstable on balance.

I walk over and sat with her. "May," she looked at me. "We just want you safe. Cause don't forget. You are someone daughter."

She kept looking down. "Only my mothers daughter. If she even remember." She lay down on the bed and looked at the ceiling. "The man whom's part of my DNA was my mom's rapist." She didn't look at me. I felt sad for her. "What about you and your brother Demon?" She looked at me.

"Nothing really abnormal. Just married parents had me and my brother and we just had what normal life we can in the world." I looked at her. She just looked at me.

She sat up from her bed and turn to look at the window. "I wasn't supposed to be here. My mother wanted to get rid of me." She stood up and waked to the window. "Until the lady who raised me now came and saw her at the hospital and saw she wanted to have me and will pay for the rest of the hospital bills until I was born." 

Why do humans always have to those things?

"Cause they don't want to pain of a child." She said in response of my thoughts.

I stood up and walked over to her and started to hold her. "You are important to us May. We are all glad for you to be alive." 

She turned around and smiled at me and hold me. "Thanks Demon." 

I hugged her back. 

After awhile of holding her, a knock came from the door. I walked over and open the door to see that no one was there. I looked around the door and saw no one running nor anywhere they can hide. I look up and down and still didn't find anyone. I backed up and shut the door. I turn to see May looking puzzled as I am. I just shrugged. She smiled and laughing? 

"Boo," a whisper came from my ear. I jumped to see it was my brother of many years. "Hello my brother and May." He said with a smile. 

"What are you doing back here Angel?" I asked.

"To give her some medicine and to check everything to see if everything is going right," he turned around. "Now May, can you sit down and let me check on everything."

She did as she was told to. What seems like forever, she finally gotten all checked and from what brother is saying is she is fine and can head to her room and get ready to train tomorrow. I walked with her to her room and when I return her to her room I head to the living room to see what my brother has plan for her. 

"Good, the gang is here." I stopped right when I heard her voice.

"No!" my brother last scream before it went black.

May's POV

I walked into my room excited to learn to fly. A tap of the window cought my attention. I turn to see Achilles. He is waving his hands like he wants me to come over. I walked over there and open the window and with that the whole world turn black. Again.

Why do I get myself into? AGAIN!
