Woken

Demon's POV

I put her on her bed and stayed with her for the night to make sure she will survive. I feel so bad about hitting the nerve. I didn't think. I hope she can forgive me. I can't handle her hating me. Whenever a person walks in I send a growl to warn them. Now I can tell who it was coming in. My brother, Angel. I didn't growl I know he doesn't want to hurt her.

"So, brother. She is still haven't woken yet?" I shook my head. "Don't worry brother. She will awake soon. Her body just needs to recover." He touch my back and that's when I started growl at him again. Which he took his hand off my back and I stopped. "I'm leaving. Please get some sleep."

I heard him walk out of the room. Which left me with my little flower again. I need to ask her out before someone takes her from me.

After what I think is 2 hours, she started to move and started to wake up.

"What's going on?" She asked. Her voice sounds like heaven.

"In your-" then a slap to the face came to me so quick that I wasn't even thinking what happen. "Bedroom." I finished.

"I can't believe you did that do know how much it hurts!?" She yelled at me.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. WHAT!" I looked and found the window open and her jumping off. "May! You are not ready!" I went to the window and jumped down myself and I ran to caught her.

"I hate you Demon! Just leave me alone! I don't want you!" the words just keep repeating and repeating all around me. I can't find the main area it's coming from. The world began to spin like I lost what keeps me sane and all of sounds came together and I keep hearing my name over and over. The scene became black. I scream for my little flower. I wanted her back. I love her.

"Demon, Demon, DEMON!" Her voice came through all the darkness. "Wake up!" That's when it all clicked in. It's a dream.

I open my eyes to see the beautiful brown eyes. I smiled and she smiled back.

"I'm glad you are awake." She said. She was laying on the bed and I was partly on. Or at least only my head was on the bed. I rose my head and looked down at her.

"I should be the one who is saying that." I thought of what happen. "I'm sorry May about hitting the nerve on your back."

She laugh and out her hand on my cheek. "It's fine. You didn't know it was there. I know it was an accident." She tried to get herself up to sit. But went back to the lay position she was at. "It hurts to get back up." she laugh, I didn't crack a smile I knew I was the reason for it. "Come on don't be so harsh on yourself. It was an accident." She touched my cheek again. "Please smile." She- I got to stop talking in my head. She looked at me question.

I smiled, "don't worry. I forget you can read minds."

She smiled and lets go of my cheek her warmth linger of a while. We stay looking at each other and just watching. A pull came to us that us closer to each other and both follow it. I could feel her lips on mine.

Bang! "She is awake!" That cut our almost kiss and saw that it was Houdini. Stupid nature made me start growling at him for interrupting. "Hold it down big boy and let us see the her to. Selfish much. You have been with her since she pass out." I stop my growling. Even though I don't want them to see her beauty I got up and moved out of the way. Houdini smiled and walked over to her. "How are you feeling May?"

She smiled, "I'm alright Houdini. Where are the others?"

"Well," he sat down in the chair I was using. "Arrow is doing something with his pack. Alex, I haven't really seen nor heard him. Angel and Achilles is prepping for your flying. I'm sitting and Demon standing there burning my skin with his eyes. Not literally."

I rolled my eyes at his remarks. They both laugh at my responds. I started to laugh as well. Then a knock came from the window. We look and saw Angel out there. We just stood there looking at him. He rolled his eyes and pointed to latch. It was locked. I got up and open the latch. Angel pull the window up and let himself in.

"Hi, guys. What's up?" Angel said, "we finished the prepping. Are you ready to start flying?"

"No," they all looked at me. "She just woke up."

All Angel did was smile at my care. I growled and his smile left quickly.

May, somehow, got up from the bed. I went to her side and help her getting up to stand. Her smell was intoxicate. I loved being near it. I paused and looked at her. She looked more focus on her standing then reading minds. I got lucky this time.

A smile broke from her face as she got up. "I got it Demon." I hesitate letting go, but soon I did let her go and she was able to stand by herself.  She took what seems like her first steps and went to Angel, but fell when she got to him. Angel caught her.

"I have to agree with my brother and say we will try when you are at least better." My brother said. I nodded as agree and so did the others as well, even May nodded her head. "Go back to the bed and get more rest and eat more." Angel went back to the window. And was climbing out.

"You can use to door if you like Angel." Houdini said. My brother shrugged and jumped off.

He has always been odd. Oh well, that what's makes him Angel.
