The searchers' lost gold

"Kamusta!" The man that was hanging on the tree greeted the Singaporean, who is sitting on the grass while leaning on the tree.

Lee himself was processing what just happened as he stared at the person above him. The figure who is still hanging made 'him' confuse because of the Singaporean who is  staring at him like he did something shocking to people's eyes.

The figure tilt his head in confusion. This move made Lee flinched from suddenness that he screamed from it. The figure screamed back from the abrupt behavior.

This made the two look away, leaving an awkward atmosphere. The person finally came down slowly. He was about to sit next to the Singaporean when Lee flinched.

The figure though that the Singaporean would feel uncomfortable, so he sat to the other side of the tree. They can still talk while not looking each other.

The person also leaned back to the tree. He took a deep breath and think on how to confront the quiet Singaporean. He check the male on the other side slowly and carefully so he wouldn't get caught.

After a few inch, they coincidentally caught each other looking and got back on their position quickly. It was awkward to be honest. It was a long silence until Lee decided to break it by making a fake cough.

This made the person on the other side flinch in suprise but kept being calm. He thought that this is a signal for him to talk. He thought of greeting him normally, not hanging above people.

The figure fake cough also because he's nervous and doesn't know what is their next move.

"Ah magandang araw sainyo Ginoo, meron ba po kayong kailangan na maari kong kayang gawin?" The person asked the Singaporean.

Lee furrowed his eyebrows, processing on what the person had said to him. He looked back, trying to make a word but he ended up hanging his mouth open until it closed.

"Excuse me?" Lee murmured, but it was enough to let the person hear it since the tree was the one who kept them in distance or in touch.

The person suddenly reminded something from the sentence. Obviously it was English, but he isn't used on using that language. He stopped first so he could think of a word to make a sentence to ask the man. Another fake cough came out to his mouth.

"Umm hello! Good day to you sir. Sorry for what I said earlier, I didn't know you were a foreigner but welcome to my motherland!" The person greeted the other as he apologized for not knowing that he's from another country.

"Since you're new here, let me introduce myself! My name is Felipe Merciado y Alfenicio or you can call me Felipe. I am well known here but nobody could ever discover me" Felipe giggled on the last sentence since it's funny for him.

Lee shared the same giggle and thinking if it's okay to introduce himself too. Well it wouldn't harm much if he did too. After all, Felipe introduce his full name without hesitation. The Singaporean only thought that he would only say his name, but not fully.

"Um nice to meet you Felipe, my name is Lee" Lee introduce himself and offered a hand for a shake. Felipe looked at it for a second and gladly accepted the offer with a bright smile.

Felipe took his chance to sit next to Lee. Lee ofcourse noticed but didn't mind or bothered by it. It was a long silence. A comfortable one not an awkward atmosphere. It was peace and calm.

The problem is Felipe is bored by it and someone can literally see him staring at the grass with boredom expression by now. Almost an annoying face.

He took a quick glance at the person besides him. He wanted to talk with him but it seems that Lee was enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
