16. Savage Love

"......Wake up......"

"Wake up!"

  Taehyung groaned as his body hit the floor. He got up rubbing his eyes, slowly feeling the pain of being pushed off the ground. He opened his eyes, rembering the activities of the day before. A smile graced his lips. But when his eyes met with Joohyun's familiar cold face, the smile fell with the sudden realization that he was dreaming. Disappointed, drained, and afraid, he started tearing up, remembering how relieved he was in his dream and knew it was too good to be true. Joohyun got her revenge and would soon break up with him. That thought alone broke him. He looked at where she was standing and that spot was empty. He was right, she was going to break up with him.

  After breakfast, he was in his room, his head between his legs and his arms crossed over his knees. He heard footsteps and the door lock but he didn't raise his head up. Why bother? There was no compromising this time.

"I want to tell you something."

"I know you want to break up. Go ahead, it's not like I can stop you anymore."

"You're right."

"I know."

"No you idiot. You're wrong."

"You want to beat me up before you do that? Fine."

  She raised his head and pressed her lips against his. Despite his sadness, he kissed back, knowing this was her way of beating him up that he couldn't make the girl he loved, love him back. She pulled away.

"Do you remember that?"

"Yes. We kissed a lot." A nostalgic smile graced his features. "It was one of my favorite things to do."

  She raised an eyebrow. "Was?"

"Yeah." His smile fell. "Was. You're breaking up with me."

  She stared at him, hard. He stared back, waiting for her to break him with her words when she threw her head back and laughed.

  His eyes widened. She was laughing, a happy one. A really, really, really happy one.

"You really are an idiot." She chuckled. "Don't you remember yesterday?"

  He blinked, not wanting to his hopes up. "But that was a dream." He muttered, now unsure.

"You're right. It was a dream." His face fell. "A dream come true."

  At that, he started crying out of happiness. "I wasn't dreaming? Oh my-I thought you were leaving me."

  She shook her head and pulled him into a hug, pecking his hair. "I'm not going anywhere. I'm in love you and now you have no reason to cry. BTS will be be made known worldwide in 3 months. Ours in a year. Seojoon's business is going well again. And no one is mad at anyone. Everything is fine, my love."

"Everything?" He mumbled, innocently.

"Everything." She cooed, bopping his nose.

  He giggled, then laughed after cleaning his face. His laughter made her join in too and it increased when he gave her messy butterfly kisses on her face. Their laughter toned down as he pulled her into a deep kiss.

  At night, he cuddled with her, enjoying the feeling of her warmth. He was smiling so broadly that she questioned him.

"I'm just so happy. I was convinced that you'd leave me for good. But I'm happy you didn't. I love you."

"I love you too. That's why I stayed."

"No you don't." He teased. "You hate me."

She smiled. "You're right. I do hate you. So much that I want to kiss and be with you in good and bad days, and drive you crazy and make you happy.  I want to be with you. You are my one and only, and this time, i mean it. I hate you, a lot more than you'd ever know."

  He laughed. "I love you. I want you to drive me crazy, to show me your good and bad sides. I'll prove to you everyday that I'm worth your love and forgiveness. And everything else there is, and many more. That's why I'm here. I'll love you no matter what."

  She giggled. "And I'll hate you. No matter what."

"What kind of feeling is that? You hate me but you want to be with me and make me happy. But the same time, drive me crazy." He pouted in mock offense.

She giggled and kissed his puckered lips.

Even after everything, he told her she could do as she pleased with him. When he thought she was finally leaving him, he loved her even more. She wanted to leave for his sanity, but he made sure she realized she was her sanity. Her love kept him sane, and he proved to her that he was worth her love and forgiveness, over and over again.
