4 MONTHS LATER"Put your pants on!!!" Skai ran after Zaire she soon caught up to him and put his pants on she then picked him up and took him downstairs
He ran around the living room as Skai turned on nursery rhymes she then went into the kitchen to get a snack
Then returned back to the living room
"Have to go soon so put on your shoes and hoodie Zaire" she said directing him
He ran to do so they were going to brunch with one of her friends *the one she stayed with when she left Namil*
...........................................................................
"Zaire stop yelling" Skai said trying to calm him down he was upset because he had to eat first then play
Skai was getting aggravated and embarrassed at his actions and wanted to leave but her friend kept asking personal questions
"Where's Namil"
"Are y'all still together"
"Why are you wearing a hoodie still"
"Are you ok?"
"You need help?"
"He needs to be put in check"
"Your a parent now do better""Hey he's my son I got it." Skai said putting Zaire's hoodie on "I'm just trying to help don't get mad at me"
"I'm not mad at you I'm just aggravated" Skai said pulling out her wallet and placing $35 on the table she got up from the table and picked up Zaire
"Really your just gonna leave because of him acting up a bit" Skai s friend said
S: yes and because I'm tired you sitting here judging me about my life
SF: I'm not judging you I'm telling you the truth
S: No your not your all up in my business when it doesn't concern you
SF: it is my business
S: No it's not
SF: it was when you were on the streets for 3 months wasn't it?Skai turned away and left the restaurant she got in her car and drove off back home she sighed as she parked the car
She got out and got Zaire out of the car taking him into the house Namil was on the couch with a friend of his i guess
The guys was Dark skin with dreads and he was next to a pretty brown skin girl with medium length 4b hair I'm guessing was his girlfriend
BUT Knowing Namil's games she didn't even ask questions she just gave Zaire to him and ran upstairs and locked herself in the bathroom
She turned on the shower so it could block out noises from her emotions as she removed her hoodie everything appeared
A familiar burn in the back of her neck appeared as she held in her tears she turned the water off and went to her room to change her clothes she put sweats on and a long sleeve shirt
She went back downstairs and grabbed Zaire from Namil "where y'all going?" Namil said following Skai to the kitchen
"Nowhere I just didn't end up eating because of this one" she said sitting him in his chair
Namil pulled a chair up in front of Zaire "you gotta stop giving mama a hard time" Namil said shaking his head
"Anyways that's Wes and his girlfriend" he said pointing to the living I shook my head as I put food in the microwave

She soon got distracted by Namil staring at the wall he sat his phone next to him and attempted to get up but Skai reacted quickly pulling him back down
"Talk to me" she said as their eyes connected she pulled his body closer holding him tightly as he wrapped his arms around her
"I'm tired of being here Skai, my life is fucked up already as it is I wi-" he was cut off by Skai " your trying to be better that's all that matter it's not your fault why your like this" she said pecking his forehead
