It has been 2 days since then. Me and Aonung didn't talked. He tried to talk to me about it but I avoided him. Me and Tsireya grew very close in the last 2 days.

I walked out of my marui pod with the blanket and the pillow. Arokh still feels lonely and he is waiting for me. As I was walking outside I heard Arokh screaming and hissing.

Many Metkayinas with weapons circled him. They hissed at him and wanted to attack him! I saw red. I jumped down off the roots of the mangrove-like trees which are spanning the islands.

I jumped in front of Arokh and grabbed my bow. I put a arrow into my bow and aimed at the Metkayinas as I hissed at them. They hissed back.

How dare they? Arokh is a kind soul. „We should kill it!" One of them yelled. I aimed at the person who said it, it was a women. Shortly before I could shoot her someone gently pulled down my Bow.

I Looked at him in disbelief. Arokh was still hissing and restless. „Mawey!" Aonung yelled to calm them down. I Put my bow down and stroke Arokhs head.

I leaned my forehead against his. „Mawey." I mumbled again and again before he slowly calmed down, still being a bit noisy. „What is the problem?" Aonung asked me.

I turned around, looking at him and then the Metkayinas. „They wanted to kill him!" I hissed. Some of them started hissing. „This thing tried to kill me!" A man yelled.

I walked towards him „He is called Arokh!" I yelled. Aonung held me back and I pulled away from his touch. To be honest, I missed him.

„And he would never hurt a soul! He just wanted to play!" I yelled at them. „Play?" The man asked while laughing. „Hey!" Aonung yelled.

I hissed, trying to calm down. „Arokh is a kind soul, he let my fly with him, he is a friend." Aonung said to them. „He will stay! Here, with us! No one of you, will ever try to hurt him again, now go!" He yelled at them.

My eyes widened, not expecting him to act like that. They all obviously not agreed but had no other choice than to listen to him, he is the chiefs son.

As they all left he turned to me. „I'm sorry about that." he said as he stroke Arokh. Arokh moved his head away, I might have told him what happened.

I walked away, getting my blanket and the pillow. Aonung watched me until I came back because I still was in his eye sight. I put the blanket over Arokh after he laid down.

„Anavari." Aonung started but I ignored him. „Please, you ignored me for the past 2 days." He said. I put the pillow on the ground and turned around to face him.

„why do you think I did?" I asked him with raised eyebrows. „My brother nearly died because of you, Aonung." I told him. He swallowed and stared into my eyes.
