„They are not gonna stop, this is only the beginning." Jake tried to calm all the Metkayinas down. Panic filled my mind because I knew war was coming but that won't gonna stop me, I'll fight, no matter what.

Even if I'm just a child, Even if I'm not an adult, I'm not done with Sydok yet and I will fight. „Tell your Tulkuns to leave, you need to tell them to go far away!" Jake yelled, trying his best to warn them. I froze, thinking about my spirit sister. What if she got hurt?

„Leave?" Ronal asked him. „You live among us, and you learned nothing!" She said. All the people were being noisy and some let out yells. I could tell how stressed they were, but how could I blame them. We brought war to them, war to a clan who'd never be involved without us.

„We will fight to protect our brothers and sisters!" A man yelled and then stuck his tounge out, hissing as he does it. My gaze fell on Aonung, who carefully listened with a slight look of fear in his eyes. The Metkayinas started hissing and jumping around and I couldn't help but close my eyes, calming down.

Their yells filled my ear and I snapped „Listen to him!" I yelled at them. Finally they were quiet enough „They will attack if you fight! They will destroy you, they will destroy everything that you love!" Jake warned them again, which didn't stopped them from yelling again.

„You hear me?!" Jake asked them trough their yells. „Hear my words!" He yelled. Neteyam tried to calm some people down while he was holding that red thing in his hand. Mine and Aonungs eyes connected as I looked trough the crowd. He was on the other side and I was so scared that he was angry at me.

I mean If I were him I'd be too. We brought war to his family and at first he didn't even wanted us here. „Stick out! Listen to my father." Neteyam said, trying to cool down the situation while the Metkayinas were yelling.

„He speaks the truth." neteyam said. Jake grabbed the red thing and stood on a high rock so everyone could see him. The People gasped and everyone carried fear in their eyes, so did Aonung.

It broke my heart seeing him scared, because of me, because of my family. Jake held the thing up as high as possible and all the people watched him, having nothing but fear.

„You tell the tulkun that if they're hit by one of these, they're marked for death!" He yelled and I could swear I saw everyone's ears down and at least 5 people crying, which I completely understood. „And call for me, I'll silence it." He told them. I sometimes really forget that he was a white man.

„Saving their life's that's all that matters, right?" Jake asked them and some nod, but some just watched him with widen eyes. „Saving your family." he said and with that he got them. Tonowari and ronal just looked at each other for seconds and the people were whispering. But then Tonowari spoke up „Tell the Tulkun." Tonowari told his people.

„Go, go!" Ronal yelled. I saw Lo'ak leaving and then it hit me, Payakan. I completely forgot about his bond with him. I have been so selfish in the last days, that I never checked up on him.

But then Neteyam walked after him and Aonung left. I needed to talk to him and then I'll speak to Lo'ak. I was quick to walk after Aonung who was walking towards the water. „Aonung!" I called after him and he turned around. He looked kind of relived as he saw me and then wrapped his arms around me.

His hug was comforting but I could feel his fear just by the way he hugged me and It broke me. I pulled away from him and placed my hands on each of his cheeks, caressing them lightly. „I'm so sorry." I told him and he wrinkled his eyebrows at me.

„For what?" He asked me, placing his hands on my waist. „I brought this war to you." I mumbled in guilt and he just lightly pulled me closer, which send shivers up my body.
