I was climbing up Arokhs favourite tree, in hope he'd be there. Aonung followed me, struggling to keep up.
„Wait forest girl." he called for me. I stopped and turned around, looking at him with raised eyebrows.
„Forest girl?" I asked him, helping him up cause we got on top of the tree.
A sweet chuckle escaped his lips „It's your nickname." He said and I slightly smiled at his words.
I breathed in and out a few times, because I was scared that Arokh won't appear.
I felt arms around me and Aonungs grip around me made me feel safe. I leaned onto him, letting him embrace me.
„he's here, I know it." He whispered, stroking my skin to comfort me. I nod, my head resting against his chest.
He pulled me apart and made me look at me. „I see you, Anavari." He whispered, looking into my eyes.
A slight smile appeared on my face and my cheeks went straight to red.
„I see you." I whispered back. His lips curled into a smile and he pulled me into a hug again.
His lips met my forehead and I wrapped my arms back around him. Suddenly we heard noises and I knew them.
I knew them to well. I pulled away from him and turned around „Arokh?" I asked.
Loud noises and the tree was lightly shaking. Then Arokh appeared in front of me and a big relief fell down from my shoulders.
He is alive! I ran to him and threw my arms around his head.
Happy tears were rolling down my cheek as I smiled at him, multiple times. Aonung was smiling at me and crossed his arms over his chest.
„Have you been with you friends?" I asked him but kinda asking myself, because I knew he won't give me an answer.
I sighed in relief as I held him tight. I was so happy!
My gaze fell on Aonung „wanna take a ride?" I asked him. He nod at me with a smile and I waved him over.
We sat up on Arokh and I connected the bond. „Ready?" I asked him and he nod as his hands slid around my stomach.
I let out a yell and Arokh started flying from down the tree.
The wind was brushing trough my hair and we flew over the forest. I pointed at a Palulukan and he stared down at it with a smile.
Flying feels like magic. It makes me feel free and I love it.
But flying with Aonung is a whole different feeling. It just makes me feel free and loved and both feelings at the same time feel so good.
Showing him my clan made me so happy. I just love it. He finally gets to know my world, like really gets to know my world.
After minutes of flying I was landing down on the grass and we hopped off of Arokh.
„Come on." I said to him with a smile, taking his hand in mine. He looked at me with a cheeky but confused smile.
I led him around the forest, showing him many forest animals and flowers and plants. Also some places I like to visit.
„We should head back, it's been some time." He said to me. I sighed at his words.
He knew I was sad and he laid his hand on my arm. I made a face out of pain because of the shot wound.
„I'm sorry, I'm sorry." he immediately said to me. I chuckled and just waved it off.
