Sam stood outside the boys locker room not wanting get in between Eli and Derek's father, son conversation.Little did she she was part of it.
"You almost had that shot." Derek said as he watched his son sit on the locker room bench "No, I didn't." Eli chuckled "Yes, you did. I saw it. You were right at the goal. You're better than you think you are." Eli shook his head "I was in for less than a minute. I got the ball for a second and I got knocked on my ass and I twisted my ankle....It wasn't anything."
Derek sighed before he sat sat down beside his son "Eli" Eli cut his dad off "It was nothing.""It was something. I was watching Coach and he saw it too. You're good. You're really good. And... if you can heal, you can play tomorrow night, and you can help them win. The first step to transforming is healing, but you've got to be willing to learn." They sat there for a moment "you wanna know what I do want to talk about" Derek sat up as he tiled his head near the locker room door, knowing Sam was standing outside of it.
"How'd you find her?" Derek asked with a raised brow, causing Eli to sit up "um in the woods." Eli stuttered out making Derek tilt his head to the side in confusion "in the woods..?" Eli nodded, trying not to give away the fact that Scott was in beacon hills.
"She was with Scott wasn't she?" Derek asked making Eli's face scrunch up "damn it." He whispered, Derek sighed "you know what this means right?" Derek asked making Eli nod.
Derek put his hand on Eli's shoulder "you'll be fine, just don't be a dork." Derek smiled but it soon went away as he heard the sound of a bow get loaded."Get down!" Derek shouted as he pulled Eli down and then shoved him to the entrance of the door "Run! Run!" Eli ran to the locker room entrance, running straight into Sam who was about to come in after hearing yelling.
"We gotta go!" Eli shouted as he grabbed Sam's hand "Eli! What's going on?!" Sam asked as Eli tried to do his best to drag her while having a bad ankle. They ran outside and to Derek's car, quickly getting in."Eli, what the hell is going on!" Sam gasped out as he slammed on the petal making her fly back into her seat "someone just tried to kill me and my dad." He quickly said as he drove down the road "what!" Sam asked with wide eyes.
"What about your dad?" Sam asked concerned, Eli turned his head in her direction to quickly look at her "he stayed back, but he's strong." Eli breathed out as he pulled into his driveway. Both teens got out and Sam helped Eli to the front door, when they both walked in Sam shut the door behind her "I'll be right back." Eli said as he limped to his bedroom.
When he came back out he was wearing a new set of clothes "let's go" Eli said as they made their way back to the car "we should go to Scott" Sam suggested as she buckled up "yeah, yeah." He agrees "ask where he is, and tell him to stay there." Eli said and Sam nodded, taking her phone out to text Scott "shit-" Eli hissed making Sam turn to look at him "what? What's wrong?" Eli's grip on the steering wheel tightened "we just need to get gas first."
Sam sat inside the car that was parked in front of Hale Auto as Eli filled up the tank. She would lean over and look back a few times to see if Eli was alright.
Sam's leg bounced up and down in anxiety as she waited for Eli to get back into the car.
As she was about to check on Eli again, the lights of another car coming at them from behind caught her attention, making her immediately get out of the car and run to the other side "Eli!" She yelled out, he looked at her only to get tackled to the ground and out of the way of the other car that was about to hit them.Sam quickly helped Eli too his feet and and dragged him to the front door of Hale auto, Eli fumbled with the keys for a second before dropping them "I got it!" Sam said as she shoved him a little to the side before placing the key into the keyhole and shoving the door open.
