It was the night of the full moon and Sam could tell that Eli was getting more antsy through out the day.
But unfortunately Sam had left Eli about 2 hours ago to go and prepare herself for the full moon, even though she never really had trouble with it.
"How are you feeling?" Scott asked as he walked into Sam's room, Sam looked away from her home work "I'm feeling okay." Sam gave him a small shrug.
Scott came in and sat on the edge of Sam's bed "how was Eli doing before you left?" Scott asked as Sam turned in her chair to face him.
"He was very jumpy and was making impulsive decisions." Sam answered making Scott look at her confused "like what?" He asked making Sam's heart jump for a second "he was more clingy than usual." Sam said as she avoided eye contact with the man across from her.
Let's just say he tried putting those condoms to good use.
"Mhm." Scott hummed as he rubbed the side of his face "maybe it has to do with the mate connection." Scott shrugged as Sam gave him a small nod "maybe." They both sat in silence for a moment before Scott stood up "okay well if you start to fell anything, come and get me okay?" Scott said as he looked down at her.
"Okay." Sam agreed with a small nod as she watched Scott leave her bedroom, shutting the door after him.
Sam signed as she turned in her chair as she focused back onto her homework.
I hope Eli is doing okay.
Eli was in fact not doing okay, he was currently handcuffed to a pole in his basement because he had tried to attack his dad earlier in the evening.
Derek looked down at his son, he wanted to let him go but he knew that if did, he would run off and maybe hurt someone or himself.
"Dad please!" Eli cried as he tried to release himself from his imprisonment.
"I cant do this." Eli breathed harshly as he felt it finally hit him "I need Sam." Eli growled as his eyes glowed yellow "dad please! I need Sam." Derek signed as he grabbed his phone from his pocket, making a phone call to Scott.
"Hello?" Scott asked when he answered the phone "Scott is there anyway you can put Sam on the phone." Derek asked as he kept his eyes on his son "yeah hold on." It was quiet on the other end for a moment before Derek heard the sound of shuffling before Sam's voice "hello?" Sam asked making Derek straighten his back "Eli's freaking out and he's begging for you." Derek sighed as he looked down as his struggling son.
"Okay i'll be over soon." Sam said before hanging up, making Derek look at his phone "okay then..."
"Where is he?" Sam asked as soon as she walked through the front door "down stairs." Derek said as he shut the door behind her.
Sam nodded before rushing down the basement stairs, her face soften at the sound of Eli in pain.
Eli's head shot up, his face falling as he felt like crying "Sam...." He whispered as Sam slowly walked up to him, taking a knee in front of him.
"I can't do this." He growled as his face scrunched up in pain "yes you can." Sam sternly said as she gave him a serious look.
"I know you can, what did I tell you?" Sam said as she placed her hands on his cheeks, making him look at her.
"That I'm strong...and that you believe in me." Eli grunted as his yellow eyes stared into her deep brown ones.
"And I still do." Sam said before looking back at Derek, who stood by the end of the staircase. "Give me the keys." Sam demanded as both Derek and Eli looked at her in shock.
"I don't think that's a good idea-" Derek spoke but was cut off by Sam "the keys, now." Derek raised his eyebrows, his hand digging into his pocket for the keys, before he threw them to her.
Sam caught them and was about to unlock Eli but he quickly pulled the cuffs away.
"No, I don't want to hurt you." Eli softly spoke making Sam look into his eyes. "I trust you." She whispered, her hand coming up to cup his hairy cheek.
"And you wanna know why I trust you?" Sam asked making Eli's brows furrow "because I love you, and I know you won't hurt me." She gave him a small smile as she spoke.
Sam slowly grabbed Eli's cuffed hands and brought the key closer, quickly placing it in and unlocking it.
As soon as Eli was free he immediately went to Sam, his head in her chest as he laid on top of her.
Sam cradled Eli in her arms as she used her hand to caress his head, as her lips found there way to his forehead, leaving tiny, loving kisses on his temple's
From that moment on Eli knew that Sam would be there for him whenever he needed her.
And Sam knew she would show up every time Eli would call her name.
