"Where are we going" Sam asked as she fixed the blindfold that covered her eyes "somewhere." Eli stated with a smile as his eyes stayed connected to the road.
"Very helpful, thanks babe." Sam said sarcastically as she slumped in the passenger seat, Eli laughed "don't worry, we're almost there." He reassured his girlfriend who sat beside him in dying anticipation.
After a few minutes, the jeep came to a complete stop.
Sam heard Eli's door open then shut, she sat in the passenger seat before she heard the sound of her door open "stay here." He demanded before rushing to the back of the jeep, getting something out of the trunk before the sound out rushing footsteps ran passed her.
After a few moments of silence Sam felt a hand get placed on her knee "come on." Eli helped Sam out of the jeep, making sure he watches her feet so she doesn't fall.
"Okay..." Eli whispered "ready?" He asked as he stopped Sam from walking.
Sam nodded her head in response before Eli reached his hands up and gently pulled the blindfold off her face.
It took a moment for Sam's vision to clear back up, but once it did her eyes winded and her mouth hung open at the scene in front of her.
In front of her was a small open field and a few meters from her laid a blanket with a picnic basket on top.
Sam closed her mouth and turned her head to look at Eli who stood behind her "you did this?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.
Eli put on a satisfied smile "Yep!" He pepped up with his hands on his hips as he rocked in his feet "do you like it...because if not we can go do something el-" Sam cut him off with a quick peck on the lips.
"I love it." Sam smiled as she grabbed Eli by his wrist and dragged him to the blanket "yeah I know I'm a great boyfriend." He gave Sam a proud smirk as he let her drag him.
Eli's back was against a tree as Sam sat on his on his lap, their lips moving together in unison as Eli's hands laid in her hips, not daring to move them.
Sam's hand caressed Eli's cheek as her lips detached from his, her slow and soft kisses traveled to his cheek and down to his neck.
Eli tilted his head slightly back to give Sam a little more room to work.
Eli's grip on Sam's hips tightened as Sam found his sweet spot, After a few moments Sam pulled back to look at her work.
"Mhm." She hummed with a smile on her face as her eyes examined the newly fresh hickey on Eli's neck.
Sam leaned down and gave a the hickey one last kiss before climbing off his lap and laying down on the blanket, her legs laying on top of his.
Eli reached forward and pulled her legs on top his lap, his hand caressing her half naked thigh.
"I love you." Eli smiled as he looked down at Sam, his eyes showing so much admiration and love.
Sam smiled before sitting back up, leaning forward and pressing a soft and slow kiss on his lips.
Eli's hand moved up her thigh, slightly moving up the hem of her dress but didn't dare to go any further.
Sam leaned back, her eyes flickering to his eyes then back to his lips.
"love you too."
Eli looked down, his bottom lip between his teeth as he turned to reach into the picnic basket, pulling out a small black and red box.
"Here." Eli said as he handed the box to Sam, watching her carefully and slowly take it out of his hand hands in confusion.
"What's this for?" Sam asked as her thumb ran over the little red bow on the box, her head raising and their eyes making contact.
Eli smiled "too show my love." He said before motioning to the box "open it."
Sam looked down at the tiny box, her hand reaching forward and lifting the top to the box up, revealing a beautiful ring.

"A ring." Sam smiled as her fingers reached in to take it out to get a better look at it, Eli gulped "a promise ring." He corrected as his body began to tense up in both nervousness and worry.
Sam looked up, her eyes soften as she heard his heart beat faster.
Sam handed the ring back to Eli, and his face fell thinking that she didn't want it but that was until she put her hand out, wanting him to put it on her.
Eli grabbed her hand and slipped it on her ring finger, he brought her hand up to his face to kiss her knuckles.
Sam bit her lip before she pulled her hand back and grabbed onto the front of Eli's shirt, pulling him forward and pressed her lips to his for a quick kiss before pulling slightly back.
"It's beautiful, I love it."
