There was a knock on Sam's bedroom door, it was currently 5pm and Sam was busy doing a project for her 3rd period class.
"Come in!" Sam shouted as she turned her head, pressing down on the image that she glued onto her large cardboard.
Her bedroom door opened, and Scott and Allison walked in.
"Hey can we talk to you for a minute?" Scott asked as he took a quick glance at Allison before facing Sam.
"Sure" Sam smiled as she put down her glue, officially turning in her chair so she can face both of them.
Scott and Allison sat on the Edge of her, a nervous look lingering on both of their faces.
Sam looked at them confused "what's wrong?" She asked as she sat up more in her chair "Nothing wrong, we just..." Scott trailed off as he played with his hands "we just wanted to talk to you about something." Allison finished for him as she placed her hand over his to calm his nerves.
"Okay, what's up?" Sam asked as she moved to sit crisscross apple sauce in her chair.
"Well I was thinking...we were thinking, you know since you're my beta and I've know you since you were 12 and I care for you..." Scott stopped so he could take in a deep breath "I mean we can't do it officially because of the fact you're parents are still out there and we would need their permission, but we were thinking that you maybe...might...wanna make us parents?" Scott finished off as He held onto Allison's hand.
Sam's face dropped, her eyes began to slowly gloss over as her grip on arms to her chair got tighter.
"I-" Sam opened her mouth to respond "re-ally?" Sam stuttered as she tried not to cry.
They both nodded their heads, small smiles on both their faces.
Sam didn't waste a second longer before she jumped out of her chair and into Scott's arms as she let out a small sob.
Scott held the into Sam's small body as she cried into his shoulder, his eyes almost tearing up as he watched.
Sam turned her head to look Allison before breaking the hug between her and Scott, letting the women cradle her in her arms.
Sam finally felt at home.
"How many times do you keep having these dreams?" Deaton asked as he stood across both Derek and his son "about every night, and it's always the same dream." Eli said as he leaned on the metal table that was placed between the two.
"Do you know what this could mean?" Derek asked as he crossed his arms over his chest.
Deaton looked at Eli with a furrowed brow "when we were in the illusion, the Nogitsune mentioned something about you and Sam being mates, right?" Deaton asked making Eli nod "yeah because we are." Eli said as he took a quick glance as his dad.
Deaton gave a small shrug "maybe it's the mate bond." Eli gave the veterinarian a confused look "what about it?" Deaton went to one of his cabinets, pulling it open and reached his hand inside, pulling out an old looking book.
"Well you guys are mates, so these dreams could be telling you to make your mate bond." Deaton said as he began flipping to a page in his book.
"What's a mate bond?" Eli asked as he leaned closer to look at the book "well a mating bond is described to appear as a link between both mates minds, so you'll officially be able to feel each other's emotion as well speaking through thoughts." Deaton looked up at Eli " you'll basically be one person but with two hearts and minds."
Derek watched his son as he was in deep thought "okay then, how does it work?" Eli asked as he watched Deaton read over a few words in the book.
"You're gonna complete the mate bond with a bite." This made Eli tense up, the nightmare flashing before his eyes.
"But...it's different with Sam..." Deaton trailed off as he shut the book "Sam's a hybrid, so she's both vampire and werewolf so the mating bond of going to be difficult and maybe even dangerous for her."
Eli started to become worried "how difficult?" Derek asked for Eli as the father and son duo stood and waited for his reply.
"Very." Deaten signed "Eli is going to bite her first, and sadly her heart will stop beating.." Eli looked at his dad with wide eyes, his heart starting to beat faster "but!-" Deaton said as he placed his hand on Eli's shoulder to calm him down.
"But...that's okay because once her heart stop beating Eli is going to use Sam's vampire teeth and bite himself with them, and Eli needs to make sure that blood goes down her throat." Deaton said as he gave the boy a serious look "when that happens this will cause her heart will start up again as well as mate with her vampire half."
"Then when she wakes she is going to bit you with her werewolf side, and once that is done the mating bond will be fully complete."
Both Deaton and Derek watched as Eli stood still, trying to process all the information that has been told to him.
Eli slowly looked up, his eyes landing on Deaton as he lifted his finger to point at the book.
"Can I borrow that?"
