Two nights had passed since Airen had left Bree and she was still trying to catch up to Aragorn, she would get off her horse and try to understand the trail of footprints or signs of fire that Aragorn and the hobbits had left behind. Aragorn was such a good ranger that it was very difficult and almost impossible to track their next step. But today she found something rather concerning. As she was searching into the ground for a footprint she saw fresh trails of four or five horses, they seemed to have been going fast.

-Mmm the black riders Butterbur mentioned...Airen muttered. I must hurry! The enemy is closer than what I had thought.
By nightfall she had reached Amon Sûl or Weathertop as some humans call it. She decided to climb there because the tower offered a commanding view of every direction so she would be able to track Aragorn and the hobbits or maybe a Nazgûl but the light had completely worn off by the time she reached the ruins. The floor was cold and she could barely see the pillars that were right in front of her. The sky was pitch black with stars rarely appearing and the moon was nowhere to be seen. Over the tower she couldn't see anything even when she used her power to enhance her eyesight. Only shadows of the trees and the nearby mountains standing tall and cold. She quickly made her camp and got ready to sleep, this place made her uncomfortable like she was exposed and she didn't want to stay there more than needed. Two or three hours of restless sleep passed when she heard it. A high pitched scream. Terror rushed through her body and she shot up from the blanket she was sleeping on. Another scream answered back, she could feel them getting closer, Nazgûls. She quickly got her stuff and run to her horse,
Noro Medina, Noro!!!! She said in elvish. (Run Medina Run) as she got down the hill she could hear the sound of horses behind her. Suddenly a shadow appeared in front of her. Her horse flinched. Raising its two front feet, Airen barely held onto it! The shadow made an another sound similar to the scream it made before but now she could hear it better , it said:
GRIISHHAAA

She commanded her horse to start running, she run for miles while the shadows were behind her. Medina was a fast horse and they had stayed far behind, now the sun had come out and it was almost morning. After a while she thought she lost them but she didn't slow her pace, she was near Rivendell now ,she was safe. As she passed a small road she felt in the bushes five hearts beating, one of a man and three smaller ones the other one seemed sick and slower than the others. She stopped and got down. She left the road and got into the bush, there she saw her friend Aragorn kneeled into the ground while searching for something in the plants.

-What's this? Airen said. A ranger caught off his guard?
-Airen!! Aragorn shouted in excitement. Thank Elendil, you are here. Quick! There's something you should see. He said while leading her to the sight of three hobbits being circled around the fourth one. He looked hurt and in pain, she could feel the poison racing to get into his heart, he was stabbed by a Nazgûl.

-You must be Frodo Baggins, she said as she rushed to his side.
-Back off!! A red headed hobbit shouted at her.
-Gamgee calm down she is here to help. Aragorn exclaimed.

Airen kneeled to Frodo's side and examined his injury, it was really bad. She tried as best as she could to slow down the venom and that took her a lot of concentration.
-Are you an elf? Another hobbit said with an odd accent.
-Be quiet Pippin don't you see she is trying to work? Give her some peace! The hobbit standing next to him answered.
-No, I'm not an elf. Airen replied. And your friend cannot be healed by me, this wound is a dangerous one. Four or five Nazgûls have been after me Aragorn, she said facing the ranger, they chased me all night and I'm afraid I've spared too much time here, we must get Frodo to Rivendell!
-Take him on your horse and leave. It  will be a lot quicker with just you both. Aragorn replied in elvish. Airen got into her horse while Aragorn placed the injured hobbit on her lap.
-Have faith Frodo, Airen whispered.
-We will be right behind you, Aragorn said, may you be safe, now Leave!

Medina started running and Airen whispered grisha healing spells into Frodo, in hopes that they would help.

One hour of journey had passed when the black riders appeared right behind her and the chase began once again. She was near Bruinen river now. Which was the boarder of Rivendell.
A field of yellow corps lay in front of her and then after a few miles there was a river.
As she passed through the trees trying to get to the river a branch cut her cheek. She could feel the presence of the riders behind her, the noise of the horses and the screaming sounds they made. The riders were getting closer. One of them tried to reach Frodo's face. Airen immediately took off her sword and tried to
keep the Nazgûl away.

Thankfully, she reached the river and her horse got into the water and reached the shore that was across. The Nazgûls and all negative beings were forbidden to enter , Airen turned around and stared at them, they were hesitating ,
-If you want him, come and claim him! She said bravely.
They slowly started to get into the river and Airen felt a terror in her heart. But then she saw the water, she remembered how Elrond had explained to her when she first arrived that the water is our friend, it cleans and carves paths, it also purifies our strength he then had taught her an elvish poem to protect her from evil things that wanted to hurt her in the water and she had learned it by heart. So she started chanting calling upon Bruinon:

Nîn o Chithaeglir lasto beth dhaer; Rimmo nîn Bruinen dan in Ulaer!!!

Insane amount of water rushed through the top of the river, it looked like it was shaped in horses running fearlessly to keep the enemy away. The Nazgûls backed away and the ones who were late were pushed by the force of the water. Airen was safe and most importantly Frodo was safe, but wait... Airen murmured his heart doesn't feel right. She felt the darkness almost taking him,
-No Frodo not now!! She said sadly. He was whimpering in pain, the only thing she could do was to put him into unconsciousness so that the poison wouldn't spread any further and so that he wouldn't be in pain. She had to take him to Elrond, he was the only one that could heal him. She put him back on her horse and quickly rushed to Rivendell.
