Steven: (yelling into the nothingness) Well, is this what you wanted? She has her friend back. You know you were wrong to do this to her. You only proved them right you know.
Loki: (being sarcastic) Yes, this is what I wanted. To be alone, without my queen, stuck in this empty nothingness with no one to love me. How could I be a part of something I never truly wanted. Her dream was not mine.
Steven: You are only fooling yourself Loki. She is your dream. You can lie to the others, but you can't lie to me. I see what this is doing to you. Look at you. You haven't eaten or drank anything; God knows when's the last time you bathed. You are hurting without her. I was wrong. I admit that. Her path was the right one taken. She is hurt. She believes you don't love her. Is that what you want? To drive her into Bucky's arms?
Loki: No. She deserves someone better than me. I'm the God of Mischief. How could she possibly love me? I....I need more time to think. Just leave me Steven. Leave me to rot away with the feelings of nothingness coming from my soul.
Steven: Loki, I can't leave you here. I see what being alone for so long has done to you. Come let's go somewhere we can have a drink, and a shower.
Loki hangs his head in down in shame and walks out of the portal with Steven.
Steven: Here this is where I leave you Loki. It's far away from everyone, but it's still here on earth. A small island in the middle of the ocean I have created long ago. There are a few people here. Just enough to keep it alive. Clean yourself up and I will check back with you in a week. This is my private getaway, you can stay here until I come for you. You need to come Home.
Loki: A week? Alright Dr. Thank you.....for everything.
Steven: One week Loki. Learn to deal with your emotions to figure out what you really want your life to be. I'll see you in a week then.
Steve flies off to leave Loki to deal with his feelings.
A week later:
Thor: LOKI!!! My brother. You have returned home.
You hear the commotion going on in the hub from your room and decide to check it out.
You: Hey are we having a party?
You are stopped dead in your tracks and start to breath heavily when you see Loki staring back at you.
You: Oh, umm I didn't know you came back. Welcome home. (Saying cold heartedly with no emotion)
Loki: Hello my pet.
You wince at him and give him the look of distain from him calling you that. The audacity of him calling you that....after a month of not hearing from him. Thinking it was ok to call you that...ugh your furious with him. But you hold it all inside as not to ruin the reunion between Loki and his brother and all the others.
Thor: Well I must say, that's a wonderful idea. Let's have a party to welcome my brother home.
You: Sounds fun. You guys have a good time. I've got some work to do, just try not to be too loud! Haha
Loki: Ugh, wait ugh we need someone to cook for the occasion, right? To celebrate my glorious return to the avengers. You're the best cook here, so naturally it has to be you. What do you say. (He whispers) I'd like it if you stayed. Give us a chance to talk.....
You see everyone on edge, waiting for your answer.
You hesitate but you agree.
You: Alight, I'll just have to finish up what I'm doing and I'll start cooking. Thor, can you handle everything else?
Steve: Oh don't worry, I'll make sure he doesn't get out of hand!
The party has begun and everyone is enjoying themselves. Especially Loki. He doesn't seemed fazed at all with what happened between you two. He hasn't even made an attempt to talk to you.
Loki: (Drunk) Well my pet looks like the party is a hit.
You: Yeah looks like you're having a blast. I'm glad you're enjoying you return.
Loki: Listen, I think we should go upstairs into my room and put all this mess behind us. I'm willing to talk and apologize. Can you meet there tonight? After the party I mean.
You hesitate but you agree.
You: Alright, meet you at 2 am?
Loki: 2! I'll see you then my pet.
2 am:
You walk up to Loki's door. You knock, but there's no answer. You assume he's either sleep or hasn't arrived too his room yet. You open his door......
You: Oh my God. (Yelling) Loki? What the hell is going on here??
