Why lie?

Steven turns around and the rest of the gang stops what they are doing and stared at you.

Steven: Loki is going to be a father?

You: You have to find him Steven. You have to bring him home.

Thor: I'm going to be an uncle? Oh happy day. Strange, we must go reverse the multiverse and find him. Come on then, conjure up some spell and let's go!

Steve: Thor, you're a genius! How about that Steven, will that work?

Thor: I am? Well, of course I'm a genius! (Scratching his head and whispers to himself) What did I say?

Steven: it's not a bad idea. If I can make a spell to reverse to the exact moment that Vincent was able to take Loki, maybe you can swoop in and get him before Vincent can take him.

Steve: It's worth a shot.

Steven: Let me see what I can come up with. I'm going to have to do this exactly at the point where Loki was. Thor, I need you to help keep Vincent from trying to come back in. Steve, you're the fastest, so u can grab him at the exact moment I say.

After some time, you haven't heard from the guys, nor have they come home. You have been at Bucky's bedside, and nothing has changed. You begin to think of what a fool you have been and how could you hurt either of these men.

You: Bucky, I'm here. I need you to get through this. I need you to come home to me. I miss my best friend. I know you know about Loki. Steve told me what you said. I needed to apologize to you for that. (You begin to walk around the room) I've had some time to think. I don't know if you realize that Loki hasn't come back. Steven said he's in the multi-verse and they are hard at work trying to come up with a spell to help him get out. When Steve told me about the two of you being hurt by Vincent, I almost died! How could I lose my best friend and my love all at once. I've decided what I'm going to do once Loki comes back & when you are out of this coma. (You walk up to him) I have something tell you. I don't know if you will be able to hear me, but I need you know (bend down and whisper in his ear) I'm pregnant.

You kiss his cheek and walk towards the window.

Loki: My pet!

You: Loki!!!! (You begin crying)

You run to him and kiss him and hug him!

You: You're home, you're home, you're home. Oh I've missed you. I was so worried, I love you so much. I thought I'd lost you. Oh my darling, I love you. (Kissing him all over)

Loki: Did I hear you right my darling. Are you with child?

You: Yes, I am

Loki: oh my darling pet. This is wonderful news. Do you know how far along you are?

You: Six weeks.

Loki: Oh my darling girl, I couldn't be happier. Come, we must share the news with everyone. And then we shall talk about everything.

You: You should rest. You've been through a lot!

Loki: I'm fine. Come.

You: Ok, but give me a minute.

Loki: Yes. I'll be right outside my love.

You go over to Bucky's bed and kiss him on the cheek and walk towards the door.

Bucky: (growly voice) Is it mine or Loki's?

You: Oh God, Bucky your awake. (Stuttering and crying) How are you, are you ok? You reach down and hug him.

Bucky: (struggling to talk) Bucky? Whatever happen (breathy) to you calling me James?

You: Oh James, I was so worried and scared you wouldn't come out of this. I didn't know how to reach you. I wondered if you could hear me or if I got through somehow.

Bucky: You got through. I heard you. I heard everything. Do you know? Is the baby mine?

You: I don't know.

Bucky: (trying to sit up) Hey, i don't care if it's mine or his. Either way, I'm still going to be there for the both of you.

You: James, I don't think we should talk about this now. You need your rest. I'll still be here.

Bucky: Listen to me, ( gently clears throat)I think I was wrong. I think I wanted you because I was jealous of the relationship you had with Loki. I was only your best friend and I really was lonely. I think I wanted a relationship of my own.

You: What are you saying?

Bucky: I'm saying, that's all I want is to be your friend again. I think you need that & I think I can't win against Loki.

You: I don't believe you. I think your lying. (You start to walk away & you suddenly turn around) No, i know you love me more than just your friend, more than just your lover.

Bucky: I think you should go. Loki's waiting. I need to rest now.

You: Bucky don't do this. (Whispers)What if this baby is yours?

Loki: Darling, are you coming? Oh, your awake. How are you feeling?

Bucky: I'm good. Ugh, she just told me the news, congratulations.

Loki smirks at Bucky.

You: Well, get some rest, I'll come by later to see how you are.

Bucky: Alright. Hey, Loki?

Take care of her for me. (voice breaks) Take care of them both.

Loki nods his head and takes your hand, and you leave the room. Anger rises within him, & tears begin to fill his eyes. He slams his fists against the bed.

Vision: Why did you lie? (Ascending from the ceiling)

Bucky looks up and sees Vision.

Bucky: What are you talking about?

Vision: You know sometimes it's a curse to be able to see things you'd never expect to see, & there are times it's a blessing You love her James. Are you not going to fight for her?

Bucky: Have u seen the way she looks at him? I saw everything. She could never feel that way about me.

Vision: How do you know unless you ask her straight out?

Bucky: Because I love her, I am willing to walk away and let her be truly happy, with the one she loves.
