You: Do you wanna sit?

Bucky nods no.

You: You or me first?

Bucky: I'll go.

Bucky stands up and heads to the edge of the balcony.

Bucky: Do You remember the last time we were up here alone, & we had the whole place to ourselves and we used to play games with one another and we always hung out together doing nothing? Chased each other around the kitchen, having food fights, me, cleaning off your face and looking deep into your eyes and you smiled. Those were my favorite times with you. You cut loose and showed me the real you. There were moments that we would just look at each other and I could hardly breathe. When u came down for the Tony's party in that dark blue dress with all the diamonds on it. Your hair was up but you had curls that lined your face. The dressed shined and lit up your face, but you were the one that sparkled that night. It was then I really knew I loved you. I always knew but never allowed myself to feel it. I didn't wanna ruin the friendship we had. I thought you had felt the same way after that night. But I guess I was wrong.

You: I remember. We always had so much fun. It was like we were children again! Always messing around and playing games, picking at each other. Ha, but everything changed though. That night, as I came down the stairs, I spotted you getting a drink at the bar with Steve. You looked so handsome in your blue pinstriped suit with the high collar white shirt, & the lapel pin Steve gave you from the war y'all were in together. You were taking a drink and you looked up and saw me. My heart sank into my stomach, I had never seen you dressed like that before & the look you gave me, gave me a million butterflies. I was so nervous all of a sudden. I couldn't figure out why. I came to the bar and you smiled. Didn't say a word, just smiled. Of course leave it to Steve to ruin the moment.

Bucky: Yeah! (chuckles) Steve with his "wow you look amazing" line he uses on everyone. Yeah, I remember like it was yesterday.

You walk up and stand next to Bucky.

You: I ordered a drink, did my rounds. Said hello to everyone & the whole time, you didn't take your eyes off me. I would glace back at you just to see you smile at me, the way you were smiling at me told me so much that night. I was so nervous and scared at what that meant, I began to drink more and more!

Bucky laughs,

Bucky: Yeah do you remember Steve asking you to dance and you said yes. But when he lead you to the dance floor, you walked right passed him and made a B-line for the bathroom.

You: I had to pee! The dress was so damn tight, I could barely hold my liquids in!!

Y'all both laugh. The tension starts to build with the silence.

You: you were waiting for me at the door.

Bucky: I thought you had puked and may have needed some help upstairs. But when you came out, everything was in its rightful place and you smiled at me. "Shall we" you said with a huge smile. I wanted to wrap you in my arms and hold onto you forever. You were so perfect that night. I couldn't keep my eyes off of you.

You: I know, but to be fair neither could Steve. Haha That was right before Loki joined us.

Bucky: yeah, Loki. (Clears throat) Anyway, we began dancing and drinking, We laughed, danced, held each other, drank some more and somehow I remember you coaxing me out to the balcony, even though it was freezing out!

You interrupt him

You: Coax? I didn't coax you! I said I needed to cool down from all the dancing because I was burning up and you asked me to go outside! So we did. I remember after about 15 mins I was ready to head back in and you convinced me to stay with you. You even gave me your jacket.

Bucky: I just wanted you all to myself. Besides the party was ending and it was just you and me.

You: Yeah, I began to shake from being cold, that's when you sat down near the fire pit and asked me to sit with you.

Bucky: you put your head on my shoulder and I wrapped you up in my arms, covered you with my jacket. I looked down at you and the way the moon lit up your face, you were so beautiful. You took my breathe away. I grabbed your chin, afraid you would pull away from me but you didn't.

Bucky tears began to fall down his cheek.

You: You kissed me. I didn't know what to feel. I still had butterflies in my stomach, & you were so sweet. I kissed you back, & you held me even closer to you and.....

Bucky: Yeah I know the rest.

You: Tell me Bucky.

Bucky: You know the rest of the story.

You: Of course I do. I want to hear you finish the story, I want you to say it.

Bucky: I kissed you....(hesitates) and you pulled me into you and we held each other. That first kiss was so passionate, and so worth the wait. It didn't take us long to make each other warm.

You: (Tears streaming down your face) You ....you....

Crying to hard to even say anything Bucky finishes your sentence.

Bucky: I made love to you, under the moonlight, right here. In this very spot.

Bucky reaches for your chin as he looks deep into your eyes. I loved you then and I love you now & I will go on forever loving you.

He pulls you closer, wipes away the tears with his other hand.

Bucky: You are my everything. You my best friend, my confidant, my heart. Only you have that.

You: Bucky, I......

Just then, Bucky kisses you so gently, and reaches around to hold you in his arms. But you don't pull away. You find yourself giving into his kiss and holding him in return.

Meanwhile Loki sees what has happened & begins to grow in anger.
