Beck's POV

I'm at Freen's place today. We have something scheduled for tomorrow and decided to just go there together.

She actually pitched this idea since we needed to be there early and it's more convenient if we stayed at her place.

Earlier, we went live on tiktok to greet and hang out with our fans for a little bit. It was so cute how they all got excited to see us together. We played some music and talked about just random stuff.

After that, we decided to watch a movie since it's still early and we both aren't sleepy yet.

After deciding on what to watch, we sat down on the couch. She laid her head on my shoulders, as usual, and then I wrap my arm around her.

"Comfy?" I asked.

"Always" she said while snuggling in closer.

Cute. I can't stop staring. I feel comfortable already just seeing her.

"Hey, silly. The movie's there, not in my face" she said jokingly.

"I know" I said, trying to brush off being caught.

We watched in silence for a while and then she started moving.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Yes but I don't want to watch anymore" she said.

"Okay, so should we get to bed?"

"Yes, please"

We usually sleep together when having sleepovers so we just laid beside each other.

We said our goodnights and then I faced the other side of the bed.

She started moving beside me and then finally settled on hugging me from behind.

If only she can see how red my face is right now.

"Beck, I don't know why I feel so at ease when I'm with you. It's like I don't have to worry about anything because you're here" she whispered.

"Really? I feel the same way too. Maybe it's because we don't have to care about anyone else. It's just you and me" I said, full of hope.

"I'll never get tired of saying how much I'm glad that we met"

"It's written in the stars, right?" I said.

"Right" she replied as she burried her head in my back.

Maybe there's a chance.

"You really feel like family to me, becky" she added, and my heart sank a little bit.

"Let's sleep, we still need to get up early tomorrow" I said, a little coldly.

"Something wrong?" she asked.

"No, I'm just getting sleepy right now"

"Oh okay, I understand. Let's sleep. I love you" she said tenderly.

"I love you too"

Am I being childish?
