Kion and Rani walked back to Priderock. Kion's tail was lashing back and forth in frustration. Rani noticed, "Hey your dad just worries about you. No need to get angry." Kion just sighed. He looked looked Rani. Her caring gaze made him calm down a bit.
"There you go," Rani smiled. "Thanks," Kion smiled back.
Kion walked into Priderock, Rani went to hang out with her friends. "Hi Asli!" Rani smiled. "Hi Rani," Asli and the other lionesses about her age walked up.
"Ok so we are all sneaking out tonight and play Spin The Stick with the males. Want to join?" Asli asked. "Sure sounds like fun!" Rani smiled. "Alright, sunset. Be at the secret meeting area," Asli instructed. Rani nodded. Asli and the others walked off.
Rani ran inside Priderock after Kion.
"Kion!" She shouted. Kion was talking with Simba. He turned around, "Uh hi Rani. We just parted a few minutes ago what- ahh!" Rani pulled Kion away. "I'm going to borrow him for a sec," Rani said to Simba. Simba chuckled and nodded.
Rani pulled Kion out of Priderock.
"Rani! What's going on?" Kion asked. "Shh keep your voice down," Rani said sternly. Kion nodded.
"Ok so all the teen lions are sneaking out to play Spin The Stick. Want to come?" Rani asked. "Oh no. You know I don't like sneaking out anymore," Kion replied. "Please Kion, just this once," Rani gave Kion the begging eyes, which always worked since they were cubs.
"Oh alright," Kion rolled his eye's. "Yay!" Rani wrapped her arms around his neck in a hug. Kion gave her a one armed hug.
"Ok you and me will head there at sunset," Rani said. Kion nodded. Rani was about to walk away, but Kion stopped her, "Um. What's Spin The Stick?" "Wait. You've never heard of Spin The Stick!" Rani shouted surprised.
"No, I haven't," Kion replied. "Ok, Spin The Stick, is a game. There is a stick, and one side is super sharp, being the pointer. One of the lions, or lionesses spins the stick, and whoever the sharp part lands on, you have have kiss," Rani explained.
Kion stared at her blankly, "Uh what if I Spin it, and it lands on another male?" Kion asked. "That won't happen. If a male is spinning, the other males step out of the circle, so that only a lioness can be picked," Rani replied, "Same for a lioness spinning."
"Um *cough cough cough* Oh I think im coming down with something. Sorry, can't make it *cough*," Kion pretened. Rani raised an eyebrow. Kion groaned, "Fine I'll play this Spin The Stick game." Rani smiled, "See ya at sunset," She walked away.
