Kion and Rani: The Same Pride

Chapter 15: Night Talk

Rani and Kion smiled at eachother. They walked back to Priderock.

Kiara ran to her brother, "Hey Kion, want to be on night watch with me tonight?" Kion looked at Rani, "No, I'm going to be with Rani tonight." Kiara smirked at them. "Kiara don't even think that," Kion growled defensively.

"Alright alright," Kiara chuckled. "Ask Kovu," Kion said. "Ok," Kiara trotted off. "Does she always tease you?" Rani asked. Kion groaned, "More than you can imagine." Rani chuckled.

They walked inside Priderock. Kion cuddled close to Rani. Rani purred.

Simba and the lionesses walked in. They saw Rani and Kion. "Aww their so cute," Ananda smiled. "Yeah they are," Nala replied.

Rani twisted and turned in her sleep. Visions came to her head. She remembered being with Hasani, and how he cheated on her. Then she thought of Kion, and if he would cheat on her as well.

Rani got out of Kion's grasp. Kion woke up, "Rani?" Rani didn't answer. Kion stood up and followed her.

"Rani?" He asked. Rani turned around, but didn't say anything. "What's wrong? Did I do something?" Kion asked. "No," Rani sighed. Kion raised an eyebrow.

Rani hugged Kion. She nuzzled into his chest, "You won't cheat on me, will you?" Rani asked looking into his eyes.

"Never. Never in a million years," Kion licked her cheek. Rani smiled.

"Sense were up and it's still dark out, we might as well do something," Kion said. "Like what?" Rani asked. Kion shrugged. "You suggest we do something, but then don't even have a plan," Rani frowned lightly, but then smiled in amusement.

"I make the ideas, you need to make the actual plan," Kion stated. Rani raised an eyebrow.

"Here is an example," Kion said, "I make a plan, you make it better, suggest your own plan, and we do your plan."

"Oh so either way I win," Rani smiled. Kion nodded. Rani thought about it for a second. An idea came to her head.

"I have an idea," Rani said. "Ok, what?" Kion asked. Rani smirked at him. "Ohh no!" Kion backed away from her. "Why not? Plus, you said that either way, we will always do my suggestion," Rani smiled.

"Well, I uh.." Kion pinned his ears back. Rani frowned at him, but sighed, "Ok ok we don't have to. But now, you owe me big time," Rani smirked.

"Oh great," Kion rolled his eye's with a chuckle. "Ok so what do you want to do?" Rani asked.

Kion pinned Rani down, and nuzzled her. Rani flipped him over and pinned him. She nuzzled into his chest. She fell asleep. Kion gently set her down. He wrapped his arms around her in a cuddle and fell asleep.
