Rani and Kion had made up. They were back to being friends. Rani was happy she had her bestfriend back. Kion was still upset that Rani only thought of him as a friend, but he didn't want to ruin their friendship again by asking about it, so he didn't.

The teenage lionesses, including Rani, all were hanging out right outside the entrance of the den in Priderock.

Kion walked out of Priderock. He stretched. "Morning," Kion said to the lionesses. "Morning," They giggled. Kion noticed his dad at the edge of Priderock, Simba also noticed him.

"Kion, come here please," Simba asked. Kion trotted up up his father, "What's up?" Simba turned around and faced Kion.

"Son, we need to talk," Simba said. "About what?" Kion asked. "Uhh. You might not want me to say infront of them," Simba pointed to the lionesses.

Kion thought for a second. Then he froze, and his eyes widened, "No! You're not going to give me the uh 'the talk' are you!" Kion shouted. The lionesses, including Rani giggled behind them.

Simba chuckled, "I am Kion." Kion tucked his ears down. "C'mon, let's go," Simba led Kion off Priderock.

The lionesses continued to giggle as they watched Kion leave with his dad.

"That's embarrassing," Rani chuckled. "Tell me about it," Asli replied. "Poor Kion, I hope he doesn't pass out," Lani giggled. Rani smiled and shook her head.

A few minutes later, Kion and Simba came back. But Kion, he was looking down at the ground, his eye's wide, and he looked traumatized.

Simba patted him on the back, "Your fine," He chuckled. Simba left. Kion sat down, looking at the ground.

Rani walked up to him. "You ok? You look traumatized," She chuckled. She playfully nudged him.

Kion looked up at Rani, "I-I need to go!" He ran off. Rani watched him leave, "That was weird?" Asli walked up to her, "Give him time. After all, he was just given 'the talk'. It's pretty understandable that he doesn't want to be near lionesses at the moment."

Rani nodded.

That night, Rani was sleeping in Priderock, when she heard pawsteps. She opened her eyes to seeing Kion leave. She followed him.

Once they were out. Rani spoke, "What are you doing?" "AHH!" Kion jumped up and turned around.

"It's just me," Rani chuckled. "Umm, I got to go," Kion was about to run off, but Rani held down his tail.

"No, what's going on. Tell me," Rani ordered. "Get your paw off my tail," Kion said sternly. "Fine," Rani did. "SEE YA!" Kion ran away. "Oh brother," Rani shook her head. She went back inside Priderock.

Kion ran away from Rani. He didn't want to be around any lionesses. Even if Rani was his best friend.

Kion slept in tall grass that night. He felt to embarrased to go back to Priderock.

The next morning, everyone noticed Kion wasn't in Priderock. "I'll look for him," Rani offered. She walked out of Priderock.

Rani soon found Kion sleeping by a tree. She rolled her eyes. Rani shook him awake.

Kion opened his eyes. "RANI!" He shouted and jumped up. "Did I scare you," Rani asked. "Uhh, a little bit yeah," Kion replied.

"Why didn't you come back to Priderock last night? Everyone's worried about you," Rani asked. "No reason," Kion looked around. "Nope. You're staying right here untill you tell me what's going on with you," Rani ordered.

"I'll pass," Kion replied. He was about to run away, but Rani pinned him down. She glared at him, "Stop running away! I thought we were friends again!"

"W-We are!" Kion replied. "Then why are you running from me?" Rani asked. Kion sighed. He pushed Rani off him.

"Im just. I'm traumatized right now," Kion sighed. Rani tried to hold in her laughter. "It's not funny!" Kion shouted. "Yeah I know I'm sorry. Hahahaha!" Rani burst into laughter. Kion rolled his eye's.

"Ok I'll stop," Rani giggled. "Thank you!" Kion replied. Rani laughed again. Kion groaned. "Ok I'm done I promise," Rani held in a laugh. "Are you?" Kion raised an eyebrow. "No!" Rani started laughing again.

Kion covered his face with his paw. "Hey don't be embarrassed," Rani chuckled. "Well I am," Kion said, paw still covering his face. Rani rolled her eyes.

"I'll help you avoid the lionesses. How's that sound," Rani asked. "I can do that myself," Kion replied. "Can you Kion. Can you?" Rani asked. Kion stared at her.

"You know the other lionesses will be all over you. Although, I can't really see why," Rani stated. "Hey!" Kion shouted. Rani giggled. "I am attractive," Kion scoffed. "Ha yea right," Rani laughed. Kion glared at her, then smirked, "So where's your boyfriend then huh?"

Rani froze,"That's unfair." "Life isn't fair," Kion chuckled. Rani growled. Kion smirked at her again.

"Do you want my help or not?" Rani asked. "Yea sure," Kion smiled. "Then stop insulting me!" Rani replied. "You're my friend. I'm supposed to insult you. But if you were my mate, then I couldn't insult you," Kion stated.

"We are just friends Kion," Rani replied. "Oh I know that! I was saying that if you were my mate I couldn't insult you!" Kion explained nervously. "Oh ok. C'mon let's go!" Rani smiled. They walked toward Priderock.

"Ugh she still thinks of me as a friend, even though I tried hinting to her that I wanted to be more than that," Kion sighed.
